So I'm back to thinking userland should never express dependencies on a kernel package, at all. I still think kfreebsd-10 images could Provides: + Conflicts: fuse4bsd, so that reverse-dependencies are satisfied and fuse4bsd can go away. It means fuse-using packages won't be installable in chroots but maybe that's correct. or fuse4bsd-dkms (why is that a recommends btw?) Don't know. The install size for dhcp+bind linked isn't much different from the
existing size of dhcp+bind embed, which is about 1.8 MB uncompressed.

If parallel building worked before you changed things, you get to fix
the issues rather than working around them. bind9 is a pain to build,
so having to deal with a forced -j1 is a nasty regression.
It's a rarely used path through the build system (--enable-exportlib),
so it's sort of unsurprising that there was a lurking issue.
Anyway, in the meantime I fixed the problem. Thanks for the prodding.

This udeb doesn't make any sense to me.

can be properly versioned.
Since we're late in the D-I release cycle, since we're late in the
release cycle in general (window for transitions closed past month),
since there was no coordination whatsoever, and since there is
apparently no well thought through plan, I think I'll oppose isc-dhcp's
using such a udeb.
Maybe I've addressed your concerns, maybe not, but please consider the
revised changes attached.

Regards, Hi Steven, I don't understand how changing the B-D will have the desired effect given that libclosure-compiler-java is an arch:all package. Although it would be nice to be able control this at build-time based on openjdk, the issue is a runtime problem. Given that the gcj-jre-headless package provides java5-runtime-headless, we can add java6-runtime-headless to the binary package depends, which would make the package closure-compiler uninstallable on those architectures (until a JRE providing java6 exists).
