Bug#724962: xfce: xfwm, xfdesktop, xfsettingsd and most xfce apps don't work
Package: xfce4 Version: 4.10.1 Severity: critical File: xfce Justification: breaks the whole system I updated xfce4 along with several other packages yesterday, and after rebooting the pc hanged while trying to load gdm. Bug#654150: wicd-gtk: Errors in spanish translation and duplicate check boxes
Package: wicd-gtk Version: 1.7.2.3-1 Followup-For: Bug #654150 I've checked the wicd translation tracker and it's complete. https://translations.launchpad.net/wicd/1.7/+pots/wicd/es/+translate It turns out that since my system uses the es-AR locale, wicd uses the es_AR.po file instead of the es.po file to translate. Bug#666964: liferea: Spanish translation: sentences in bold in Preferences and Feed Propierties dialogs appear in English.

Bug#666488: Patch to fix unresponsiveness after logging in to MSN account
Package: emesene Version: 2.12.1+dfsg-1 Severity: grave After logging in to a MSN account in emesene, and the contact list appears, the program gets completely unresponsive and hangs, and I have to end up killing the process manually, so I can't use emesene at all. I reported this to upstream and I was told it was an issue related to OpenSSL 1.0.1 that has been fixed recently. Here's the patch that solves this issue: https://github.com/emesene/emesene/commit/bce64813cdb44111bc7bb056b3122ead160a1ea3. I downloaded emesene from git and the program works normally again. Please apply this patch as soon as possible.
Bug#651913: new upstream release available (1.8)
Since anarcat didn't send a debdiff, I decided to make a package myself. I'm attaching a debdiff against the 1.6.5 package to this report. I made the package on amd64 architecture, so the debdiffs are for the amd64 versions of those packages. I'm not sure if I can help, but if you want I can send you my package. By the way, according to the upstream changelogs, there are five bugs which were fixed in previous versions (1.7.0 and later). Bug#654950: No Condensed fonts work in GTK3
I have discovered that Nimbus Sans L Regular Condensed (or Italic Condensed, or Bold Condensed, etc...) won't work in GTK3 either. If that font is selected in the XFCE font setting GTK3 will use the regular font instead. In other words, no "Condensed" fonts in my system work with GTK3.

Bug#626309: linux-image-2.6.38-2-amd64: Wifi connection drops randomly with Realtek RTL8187 wifi adapter
Package: linux-2.6 Version: 2.6.38-5 Severity: normal I have a USB adapter (identified as Realtek RTL8187 Wireless Adapter) that I use to connect to wifi. Until updating the kernel from 2.6.37-2 to the current version, it worked perfectly, but now the connection drops randomly: sometimes once a day, sometimes every 20 minutes, and sometimes all the time. The computer can still detect the Wifi network, but I can't browse or download anything. The same computer with the same adapter can connect perfectly with Windows 7 and with the previous kernel, and the system does not detect any signal drop when the connection drops, so I suppose it's some driver issue. -- Package-specific info: ** Version: Linux version 2.6.38-2-amd64 (Debian 2.6.38-5) (b...@decadent.org.uk) (gcc version 4.4.6 (Debian 4.4.6-3) ) #1 SMP Sun May 8 13:51:57 UTC 2011 ** Command line: BOOT_IMAGE=/boot/vmlinuz-2.6.38-2-amd64 root=UUID=6fc5455a-d392-4fe4-9306-b088e71d090f ro quiet ** Tainted: PO (4097) * Proprietary module has been loaded. * Out-of-tree module has been loaded. ** Kernel log: [3.939429] sd 4:0:0:2: Attached scsi generic sg4 type 0 [3.944553] sd 4:0:0:1: [sdc] Attached SCSI removable disk [3.950025] sd 4:0:0:2: [sdd] Attached SCSI removable disk [3.950771] sd 4:0:0:0: [sdb] Attached SCSI removable disk [4.993978] PM: Starting manual resume from disk [4.993980] PM: Hibernation image partition 8:6 present [4.993981] PM: Looking for hibernation image.
