Hi there!

I am seeing this same issue on a very similar system. Also a i915 card
with a similar environment (xfce, lightdm and so on).

I'd like to see this fixed and if there's anything I can do to help the
maintainers troublesooth, just ping! ATM I'm not having a lot of luck
finding the origin of this problem on my own, so any suggestions you may
have are very welcome. The normal firmware packages are installed.

dmesg shows this, very soon after boot, in case it helps (maybe it0s not
even related, I'm almost sure I've seen this before and X was working
perfectly)

Hi there, listmasters!

On my knees I beg you, please get this person off my back by removing
his msg to our mailing list. To me it looks like a honest mistake he
replied to the ml with his resume attached:

https://lists.debian.org/debian-devel/2004/07/msg01871.html

I have marked it as spam in hopes it would be deleted, no luck.

Forever grateful,

I see that /var/lib/dpkg/info/myspell-es.postinst is trying to exectute
update-openoffice-dicts, which it can't find.

So I look for it and it *seems* to be shipped by dictionaries-common
~-root@lemapt-file search update-openoffice-dicts
dictionaries-common: /usr/sbin/update-openoffice-dicts
dictionaries-common: /usr/share/man/man8/update-openoffice-dicts.8.gz

But it is no longer there. I dunno if this bug actually belongs in
dictionaries-common, as it should ship the script, or if things just
changed and you shuld invoke a different script in postinst (which seems
to be the case according to #619246).

Thanks for your time!

Bug#452092: rhythmbox: New upstream development version (0.11.3)

2007-11-20 Thread Amaya Rodrigo Sastre
Package: rhythmbox
Version: 0.11.2-1
Severity: wishlist

There has been a new upstream version for a while and it would be great
to have it in experimental. The feature I am most interested in is the
ability to drag and drop cover art on the fly.

Thanks!

I am using png graphics within the presentation, but I don't know if
it's related.

I just rebuilt mgp with pbuilder and the problem goes away.

Thanks for your time!

Bug#384355: Alarm clock Pluguin. Please!

2006-08-23 Thread Amaya Rodrigo Sastre
Package: rhythmbox
Version: 0.9.5-2
Severity: wishlist

It would be great to be able to get up to my music, as I usually do with
xmms-alarm (xmms general plugin for using xmms as an alarm clock).
I like rhythmbox much better and it should not be too difficult to
implement. Correct me if I ma wrong.

Thanks in advance!

Bug#379548: ITP: subtitleeditor -- Graphical subtitle editor with sound waves representation

2006-08-11 Thread Amaya Rodrigo Sastre
In reply to a RFP, and with the idea of creating subtitles for the talks given
in Spanish during Debian Day at Debconf6, found at
http://meetings-archive.debian.net/pub/debian-meetings/2006/debconf6/theora-small/2006-05-13/tower/
I intend to package subtitleeditor.

* Package name: subtitleeditor
  Version : 0.9
Upstream Author : IDJAAD djamel (aka kitone) [EMAIL PROTECTED]
* URL : http://kitone.free.fr/subtitleeditor/
* License : GPL
  Programming Lang: C++
Description : Graphical subtitle editor with sound waves representation

Subtitle Editor is a GTK+2 tool to edit subtitles. It can be used for new
subtitles or as a tool to transform, edit, correct and refine existing
 subtitles.
 .
This program also shows soundwaves which makes it easier for subtitles
synchronisation that most other subtitle editors like ksubtile or gaupol.

So, now that I read this aloud, is it that or than here?
Nah, the description should definitely be improved.

Preliminary work can be found at
http://www.amayita.com/debian/subtitleeditor
but don't expect an upload until next week.

BTW, Co-maintainers are most welcome!

As of Debconf 5 (june 2005) Anthony Towns passed over the maintainance
of the base pseudo-package to me, so I would like to have the Maintainer
field reflect my name and email address instead of his.

Thanks!

So I added a build dependency on libxt-dev, run autoreconf -I admin and
it seemed to help, but it still FTBFS.

Hi there!

Ludovic Rousseau wrote:

Just a lack of time or is there a big technical problem?

It was lack of time, hardware to test it and interest.

I may adopt the package but would like to have your words first.

Please go ahead, plucker deserves (and is in need of) some serious love

Take care!

You are absolutely right:

Again, you are absolutely right, and I intend to do the quickest ugliest

Bug#347397: PLease package New Upstream Version (2.1.1)

2006-01-10 Thread Amaya Rodrigo Sastre
Package: gtk+extra
Severity: normal

I intend to NMU gtk+extra, so that new upstream, available since a long
time, enters Debian, so that gspim can also be upgraded to latyest
upstream and we can close a FTBFS bug that is related to the xlibs-dev
transition.

Until upstream addresses this issue and I am able to perform enough
tests, I will assume lirc modules will not build with kernels 2.6.13 and

Bug#341547: Not installable

Package: xmms-musepack
Severity: normal

Hi there!

[EMAIL PROTECTED]sudo apt-get install xmms-musepack

Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.

Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that
the package is simply not installable and a bug report against
that package should be filed.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
xmms-musepack: Depends: libtag1c2 (= 1.4) but it is not installable
E: Broken packages

Simply rebuilding the package fixes this.

Bug#341279: Missing bttv.h

2005-11-29 Thread Amaya Rodrigo Sastre
Package: linux-headers-2.6.14
Severity: normal

Hi there,

In order to build lirc-modules-source I used to depend on linux-headers.
Right now linux-headers do not include bttv.h, which I need in order to
build certain lirc modules.

I wonder if this file could be included there, as depending on the whole
linux-source seems a bit too much for just that file.

Thanks for your time. Any suggestions greatly welcome.

Reopen this bug because it was closed by a typo in the changelog,
 #301590 should have been closed.

The bug refers to lirc-modules source checking for a Rules.make file
uner /usr/src/linux. That file is not found in 2.6.x kernels, so I
changed it to look for $KSRC/include/linux/version.h

I think the bug is closed. What remains to be done in order for it to
really get closed? :)
