Bug#782852: lxc-ubuntu-cloud template hardcodes 'precise' tarball

2015-04-18 Thread Artom Lifshitz
Package: lxc
Version: 0.8.0~rc1-8+deb7u2
Severity: normal

On line 215, the lxc-ubuntu-cloud template obtains the tarball URL. Instead of
using the $release variable which can be set through the lxc-create command, it
hardcodes the release as 'precise'. This leads to the 'precise' image being
downloaded, regardless of what was specified to lxc-create. Simply changing
'precise' to '$release' should fix this (and has worked on my machine using
'trusty' as the release specified on the command line.)

Bug#746401: linux-image-3.13-0.bpo.1-amd64: Unable to authenticate with WPA2 PSK network

2014-04-29 Thread Artom Lifshitz
Package: src:linux
Version: 3.13.10-1~bpo70+1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

Any attempt to connect to a WPA2 PSK network will fail with the following line
in syslog:

Apr 29 13:06:16 arlon wpa_supplicant[2871]: wlan0: WPA: 4-Way Handshake failed
- pre-shared key may be incorrect

This affects both NetworkManager and wpasupplicant, and booting to the
3.12-0.bpo.1-amd64 version fixes the issue.

This has been tested with a Nexus 4 in portable hotspot mode and a Linksys
E1200 router.

Bug#335053: amarok: breaks iPod shuffle

2006-10-17 Thread Artom Lifshitz
Package: amarok
Version: 1.4.3-1
Followup-For: Bug #335053

Seems like my issue is related to this one, so I didn't open a new bug
report. amaroK breaks my iPod shuffle. It'll transfer songs and
disconnect just fine, but when I turn the iPod on the green light comes
on for a while, and nothing plays. Since iTunes works just fine, I'm
assuming this is an amaroK issue.

Bug#329396: does conky 1.4.0 fixes this bug?

2006-03-03 Thread Artom Lifshitz
Yep. I no longer need to specify the I2C device to use if I want to
avoid the segfault.

Bug#329396: conky: segfaults unless explicitly specify I2C device

2005-12-08 Thread Artom Lifshitz
Package: conky
Version: 1.3.1-1
Followup-For: Bug #329396

I changed `${i2c 9191-0290 temp 3}' to `${i2c temp 3}' and conky segfaults. So
as a quick fix you can explicitly specify the I2C device to use. As a not so
quick fix, upstream version 1.3.4 is out :)

Bug#337647: amarok: will sometimes close and open Mozilla Thunderbird

2005-11-05 Thread Artom Lifshitz
Package: amarok
Version: 1.3.5-1
Severity: normal

This happens (only sometimes) when I shuffle the playlist, using either
the menu option of the keyboard shortcuts, or when I load songs into a
playlist. Amarok will close (crash?) and Mozilla Thunderbird will open.
It boggles me, and it boggles Google.

Fair enough. But we can agree that there should be the possibility to
choose the behavior, right?

Bug#306271: amule: corrupted display

2005-05-05 Thread Artom Lifshitz
This seems to have been fixed by deleting my ~/.aMule/ and ~/.eMule.
Unfortunately I did not delete them scientifically, and so have no
idea what specific file was causing the corrupted display, and even less
what exactly *in* the file was causing it.

aMule minimizes to tray when the window is minimized, while all the KDE apps
that I use (kopete, amarok) do so when the window is closed. In order to be
consisten, aMule's behaviour should be modified to match the behavior of those
applications.
