Bug#306220: mailscanner: Should be moved to contrib: dependency on unrar unsatisfiable in main
Package: mailscanner Version: 4.40.11-1 Severity: serious Justification: Policy 2.2.1 MailScanner's dependency on unrar isn't satisfiable in main, and this violates directly with policy 2.2.1. Therefore, MailScanner should be moved to the contrib section of the archive. Additionally, dependency on unrar should be changed to unrar-nonfree. The code shows that it actually depends on the syntax of unrar-nonfree, and the functionality of decompressing UnRAR 3.0 format (which free unrar isn't capable of). This bug revealed after the removal of (free) unrar from sarge because of the RC #265045. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Bug#303206: Acknowledgement (hostapd: MAC address deny unsless in accept list not working)
package hostapd retitle 303206 hostapd: init.d script doesn't report failed start severity 303206 normal tags 303206 + pending thanks Hi, Thanks for the detailed bug report. I've downgraded the severity to normal, after your comments I don't think that important is justified, hostapd wasn't even running because of a configuration error. Unfortunately, there isn't much that I can do about syslogging when hostapd fails to read properly it's configuration, that is an upstream issue (and judging from the syslog* configuration parameters, a deliberate choice). Anyway, the init script in 0.3.7-2 (upload pending) checks for a failed start and reports back to the user. You'll have to run it manually though to actually see what the error is. Bug#286415: needs /etc/modprobe.d/zaptel for 2.6 kernels
Hi, I think it should be: install wcfxs /sbin/modprobe -i wcfxs; /usr/sbin/ztcfg install wcfxsusb /sbin/modprobe -i wcfxsusb; /usr/sbin/ztcfg install torisa /sbin/modprobe -i torisa; /usr/sbin/ztcfg install tor2 /sbin/modprobe -i tor2; /usr/sbin/ztcfg install wcfxo /sbin/modprobe -i wcfxo; /usr/sbin/ztcfg install wct1xxp /sbin/modprobe -i wct1xxp; /usr/sbin/ztcfg man modprobe.conf says: This is the most powerful primitive in modprobe.conf: it tells modprobe to run your command instead of inserting the module in the kernel as normal.. Notice the instead part. Regards, Faidon -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
