Bug#752234: bluefish: Misconfigured Chromium start command name in Bluefish config
Package: bluefish Version: 2.2.6-1 Severity: normal Hi! I couldn't figure out why the Chromium browser option didn't work for me to test my html. The default browser is Iceweasel but both can be enabled. The problem is just that Bluefish is configured to call chromium-browser whereas Chromium is started with the command chromium in Sid. So if I correct the command, Chromium works correctly now. Thanks for your great work ! Bug#746956: phpmyadmin: phpMyAdmin configuration storage is not completely configured message (fix explained)
Package: phpmyadmin Version: 4:4.1.14-1 Severity: normal Tags: patch Hi ! Every time I started phpMyAdmin (http://localhost/phpmyadmin/) I got the following message: phpMyAdmin configuration storage is not completely configured, some functionality were disabled. To see the reason, click here. (it's displayed in french on my box so I roughly translated it). I Googled a bit about this message and found a workaround. The problem that PMA's config file is located in /etc/phpmyadmin but PMA expects it in /usr/share/phpmyadmin. The workaround consists in creating /usr/share/config.inc.php with the content : require /etc/phpmyadmin/config.inc.php Thanks for your work ! Package: icedove Version: 3.1.16-1 Severity: important Hello ! As the subject says, I cannot click on an html link and be redirected to my browser. Bug#462638: kstart --iconify kwifimanager does not start kwifimanager iconified
Package: kwifimanager Version: 4:3.5.8-1 Severity: minor Hi ! Since I've upgraded KDE to 4.0 from experimental which is now in Sid (so now I use a mix of 3.5 / 4.0), the command kstart --iconify kwifimanager does not start kwifimanager iconified anymore. The window appears with its normal size. This is a bit annoying because I use this command to start kwifimanager iconified in order to display my WiFi signal stength in the notification area. kstart --version outputs the following : Qt: 4.3.3 KDE: 4.00.00 (KDE 4.0.0) KStart: kstart version 1.92 For information, kstart --iconify icedove works correctly and also kstart --iconify konqueror, given my konqueror is still at version 3.5.8. So I tend to conclude the problem seems specific to kwifimanager and not to a general behavior of kstart 4.0.0 with KDE 3.5 applications. Bug#399090: Unable to burn a MP3/CUE Audio CD on the fly (because of wodim ?)
Package: k3b Version: 0.12.17-3 Severity: normal Hello ! I have a mp3/cue Audio CD Image ready to burn. When I try to burn it with k3b, in DAO mode, k3b displays On the fly writing is not supported with cdrecord version 2.01a13. I am wondering if this is not a bug that could be caused by k3b checking wodim version (1.0 ?) instead of cdrecord version. A quick search on google reveals that cdrecord 2.01a13 has been released on 2003, so I suppose wodim version is at least cdrecord 2.01a13. If you check k3b advanced configuration (as root), you'll see that cdrecord version is 1.0pre1. Thanks for any help ! Bug#390188: Google Earth is very slow since mesa 6.5 with open source r300 drivers
Package: libgl1-mesa-glx Version: 6.5.1-0.1 Severity: normal Hi ! I know I should not report about programs that are not in Debian. Anyway here is the problem. Before libgl1-mesa-glx entered sid, I tried several cvs builds of libgl1-mesa-glx from experimental. Every time I started Google Earth with those experimental builds, Google Earth became very very slow (like 1 or 2 FPS). Downgrading to mesa 6.4 in Sid always solved the problem. Now that mesa 6.5 is stable and in Sid, the problem with Google earth is still there. My machine is an IBM/Lenovo thinkpad R52. The 3D accelerator is an ATI r300. Note that I've just installed the latest build of Google Earth and the problem persists. Thanks for any help !
