Bug#507871: Real names necessary
Further tests have shown that the problem indeed only comes up when the real name is missing. If new users are created which have real names than the login works. So the problem ahs a work around. It must be checked with upstream if this behaviour is in fact wanted, the bug could be closed if that is wanted anway.
