Bug#960559: burgerspace: Application crashes if you complete a level after loosing the game
Package: burgerspace Version: 1.9.2-3 Severity: minor Dear Maintainer, In burgerspace, you win the level at the moment all burgers are assembled. If all burgers are assembled after you lost your last life, the game crashes. Steps to reproduce: * complete all but one burger * loose all but one life * send the last burger parts falling down * get hit by an enemy before the falling burger parts hit the burger the game briefly shows the "Game Over"-screen until the top burger part stops falling. Then the application crashes. I expected the game to continue, so I could replay these levels. Yes, I may play this game too often, it already happened twice this year. with kind regards Stefan -- System Information: Debian Release: 10.4 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.19.0-9-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages burgerspace depends on: ii libc6 2.28-10 ii libflatzebra-0.1-2v5 0.1.6-5 ii libgcc1 1:8.3.0-6 ii libsdl-image1.2 1.2.12-10+deb10u1 ii libsdl1.2debian 1.2.15+dfsg2-4 ii libstdc++68.3.0-6 burgerspace recommends no packages. burgerspace suggests no packages. -- no debconf information

Bug#707298: libcglib-java: code changes break libmockito-java
Hi Damien, On Sat, May 18, 2013 at 12:32:00AM +0200, Damien Raude-Morvan wrote: Thanks for your analysis of this issue and your provided workaround. I'm a bit reluctant to apply your patch as-is because, in fact, upstream added createInfo = null; to fix http://sourceforge.net/p/cglib/bugs/28/ I've seen this Bugreport as well, but I don't believe setting createInfo to null fixes this bug, they need to run static Initializers as suggested in the Bugreport. Anyway, I extracted the changes made for fixing the mentioned bug. I believe the real fix is made in net.sf.cglib.core.ReflectUtils and the changes in MethodProxy are merely accidental. I am attaching the changes made. Lastly, createInfo is not accessed after init() is run, according to my analysis. So not setting it to null just uses a little more heap than necessary. I'll check with them how to fix this properly... They're probably going to tell you to fix mockito. Well, I would tell you. See lines 19-32 on https://github.com/mockito/mockito/blob/master/src/org/mockito/internal/creation/cglib/MockitoNamingPolicy.java Mockito is accessing a private member variable via reflection and failing loudly if it cannot. My first priority is fixing mockito in Debian, including wheezy. But fixing mockito is more complicated, as far as I see. So, my plan of action is as follows: 1. Get a cglib with my patch accepted for the next pointrelease 2. After 1., revert the patch and issue a bug report against mockito. 3. Fix the issue in mockito, probably pushing the patch upstream. Geez, I wish i could assign this bug to both cglib and mockito. Greetings Stefan -- A troll. Stupid but hard to fool. I'm afraid i shall have to try the truth Vy vill zat vork? Bug#707298: libcglib-java: code changes break libmockito-java
Package: libcglib-java Version: 2.2.2+dfsg-5 Severity: important Tags: patch Dear Maintainer, The current version of libcglib in debian breaks the libmockito-java package. I've put together a test class (With code taken from http://docs.mockito.googlecode.com/hg/latest/org/mockito/Mockito.html#13 ) |List list = new LinkedList(); |List spy = spy(list); | |// using the spy calls real methods |spy.add(one); |spy.add(two); Trying to run this yields : |java.lang.RuntimeException: Unable to set MockitoNamingPolicy on cglib generator which creates FastClasses |at org.mockito.internal.creation.cglib.CGLIBHacker.setMockitoNamingPolicy(CGLIBHacker.java:29) |at org.mockito.internal.creation.MethodInterceptorFilter.intercept(MethodInterceptorFilter.java:42) |at $java.util.LinkedList$$EnhancerByMockitoWithCGLIB$$440d9615.add(generated) |at testSpy.spying(testSpy.java:17) |Caused by: java.lang.NullPointerException |at org.mockito.internal.creation.cglib.CGLIBHacker.setMockitoNamingPolicy(CGLIBHacker.java:23) Downgrading libcglib to 2.2+dfsg-2 (squeeze) fixes this. Browsing the changes in cglib, I traced this down to the MethodProxy.java class, particularly this change: http://cglib.cvs.sourceforge.net/viewvc/cglib/cglib/src/proxy/net/sf/cglib/proxy/MethodProxy.java?r1=1.14r2=1.15 I believe the change was accidental, so the attached patch restores the old behaviour. Bug#546534: libconfig-simple-perl: fails to parse some ini-files
Package: libconfig-simple-perl Version: 4.59-3 Severity: normal Config::Simple has some issues when parsing Ini-files. This File [colors] average (2009) = blue leads to the error message | Something went wrong. No supported configuration file syntax found. Either the file is of wrong syntax, or there is a bug in guess_syntax() method. at /usr/share/perl5/Config/Simple.pm line 184, FH line 2. I've played around a bit with this line and the closing paranthesis seems to be the problem. In fact, string that ends with a non-word-character makes Config::Simple choke. So average (2009 = blue average (2009)a = blue both are correct. The error message is misleading, to me the culprit seems to be line 290: $line =~ /^\s*([^=]*\w)\s*=\s*(.*)\s*$/ and $data{$bn}-{lcase($1)}=[parse_line(READ_DELIM, 0, $2)], next; I'd suggest changing the regexp to /^\s*([^=]+)\s*=\s*(.*)\s*$/ but haven't had time to test this change, hence no patch attached. :) Stefan -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0.3 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-2-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages libconfig-simple-perl depends on: ii perl 5.10.0-19lenny2 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction libconfig-simple-perl recommends no packages. libconfig-simple-perl suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Bug#390400: vsound: doesn't check write permissions on current directory
Package: vsound Version: 0.6-3 Severity: minor I just tried to save some stream using vsound: ,--- | [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/media/cdrom$ vsound realplay \ |http://www.antennebrandenburg.de/_/modem.ram | About to start the application. The output will not be available | until the application exits. | Warning: LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/vsound/libvsound.so | Missing file ./vsound5789.au. | This means that the libvsound wrapper did not work correctlty. | Here are some the possible reasons : | - You are trying to record a stream (RTSP or PNM protocol) from |the internet. You will need to use the --timing option. | - The program you are trying to run is setuid. You will need to |run vsound as root. | - Vsound was not properly installed and hence won't work at |all. `--- vsound works, but cannot write to the current directory(The Filesystem on the current directory is mounted read-only). The error message printed is completely wrong and misleading. vsound should check whether it may write to the current directory and if not, write to some emergency directory, something like /tmp. Or a least mention the problem in the error message. :) Stefan -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.15daniel Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], LC_CTYPE=de_DE (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages vsound depends on: ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-22sarge4 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii sox 12.17.7-2 A universal sound sample translato -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe.
