Bug#1069232: logwatch: Logwatch does not report fail2ban on Debian 12
Package: logwatch Version: 7.7-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer, *** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate *** * What led up to the situation? I think this is fairly normal host, runs ISPConfig though. I have modified fail2ban somewhat, but I would say just installed Debian 12 and fail2ban. * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? Did try to debug, could not find fix. * What was the outcome of this action? * What outcome did you expect instead? *** End of the template - remove these template lines *** On Debian 10 and 11 hosts the e-mail logwatch generates has section like this: - fail2ban-messages Begin Banned services with Fail2Ban:Bans:Unbans postfix-sasl: [ 3:3 ] recidive: [ 88:155] sshd: [296:296] -- fail2ban-messages End - On Debian 12, that section does not appear. I have compared settings between hosts, I can not see difference. I tried to see if fail2ban log format has changed, but they look the same to me. Troubleshooting on the Debian 12 host with # logwatch --debug High --service fail2ban shows logfile with the fail2ban info is read and the filter finds Ban, Unban etc. lines. With --debug High the resulting e-mail did have fail2ban-messages section, but still not the summary lines with numbers of Bans:Unbans. Is this a known issue, some configuration needs adjustment? My Debian 12 host is NOT upgraded from Debian 11, it is a fresh install. I did read Debian 12 Release notes, but can not find it mentioning logwatch or fail2ban. -- -- System Information: Debian Release: 12.5 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.1.0-20-amd64 (SMP w/3 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages logwatch depends on: ii perl5.36.0-7+deb12u1 ii postfix [mail-transport-agent] 3.7.10-0+deb12u1 Versions of packages logwatch recommends: pn libdate-manip-perl pn libsys-cpu-perl pn libsys-meminfo-perl logwatch suggests no packages. -- Configuration Files: /etc/cron.daily/00logwatch changed [not included] -- no debconf information

Setting an empty string is pref("intl.locale.requested", ""); The edit I made seems to be stored in prefs.js:user_pref("intl.locale.requested", "fi"); in my TB profile directory. If you have added this to your TB profile locally you will override the current default behavior to pick up the locale setting from the running user session. So if you using already LANG=fi_FI.UTF-8 there is no need to enforce this. Restarted Thunderbird, UI is still english. By the way, my locale is Finnish, so if Thunderbird behaved nicely it would be in Finnish like before. For sure, yes. The version in stable-security don't need any cheats to work with the locale you have on your system. Bug#856588: backuppc: dist-upgrade wheezy to jessie broke backuppc CGI-interface
Package: backuppc Version: 3.3.0-2+deb8u1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer, Upgraded up-to-date Debian Wheezy to Jessie today. Answered use maintainer version for all questions about configuration files. After upgrade backuppc Web interface did not work. Other parts of backuppc seemed to be OK, Trash_clean started automatically and BackupPC_dump -v -f did start and reported no errors until I exited it. I quess the problem is the upgrade created file /etc/apache2/conf.d/backuppc.conf, as a symlink to /etc/backuppc/apache.conf. Bug#840816: Upgrade to Jessie 8.7 fixed issue
I tested this morning with Jessie 8.6, boot problem persisted still and I had to boot via rescue mode and there stop and start networking, network-manager and nis. After upgrade to jessie 8.7 I have booted twice, and normal boot starts this host. The boot does seem to take a longish time, screen is blank for about two minutes but eventually the login screen appears and thinks work OK. Tapio Lehtonen Osk Satatuuli

Starting from terminal window shows error message: taleman@yosemitesam:~$ klavaro ** (klavaro:2915): ERROR **: couldn't open the default keyboard layout: [querty_se] Jäljitys/katkaisupisteansa taleman@yosemitesam:~$ LANG=C klavaro ** Message: Empty accuracy log: /home/taleman/.local/share/klavaro/accuracy.log_qwerty_us ** Message: Empty proficiency log: /home/taleman/.local/share/klavaro/proficiency.log_qwerty_us ** Message: Empty accuracy log: /home/taleman/.local/share/klavaro/accuracy.log_qwerty_se ** Message: Empty proficiency log: /home/taleman/.local/share/klavaro/proficiency.log_qwerty_se Adiaux! taleman@yosemitesam:~$ This can be fixed with starting klavaro prepending LANG=C to the command line. Then change keyboad layout to Swedish and language to Finnish. After this Klavaro starts OK from GUI menu and from command line. By the way, klavaro does not show Finnish keyboard layout in the menu. Finnish and Swedish keyboard layouts are exactly the same, so copying and renaming would fix this issue. I suspect this is caused by locale setting, and Klavaro would work OK with some other locale. taleman@yosemitesam:~$ locale LANG=fi_FI.UTF-8 LANGUAGE= LC_CTYPE="fi_FI.UTF-8" LC_NUMERIC="fi_FI.UTF-8" LC_TIME="fi_FI.UTF-8" LC_COLLATE="fi_FI.UTF-8" LC_MONETARY="fi_FI.UTF-8" LC_MESSAGES="fi_FI.UTF-8" LC_PAPER="fi_FI.UTF-8" LC_NAME="fi_FI.UTF-8" LC_ADDRESS="fi_FI.UTF-8" LC_TELEPHONE="fi_FI.UTF-8" LC_MEASUREMENT="fi_FI.UTF-8" LC_IDENTIFICATION="fi_FI.UTF-8" LC_ALL= taleman@yosemitesam:~$ -- System Information: Debian Release: 8.5 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.16.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=fi_FI.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fi_FI.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages klavaro depends on: ii libatk1.0-0 2.14.0-1 ii libc62.19-18+deb8u4 ii libcairo-gobject21.14.0-2.1+deb8u1 ii libcairo21.14.0-2.1+deb8u1 ii libcurl3-gnutls 7.38.0-4+deb8u3 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.31.1-2+deb8u5 ii libglib2.0-0 2.42.1-1+b1 ii libgtk-3-0 3.14.5-1+deb8u1 ii libpango-1.0-0 1.36.8-3 ii libpangocairo-1.0-0 1.36.8-3 klavaro recommends no packages. klavaro suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- System Information: Debian Release: 8.5 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.16.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=fi_FI.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fi_FI.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages klavaro depends on: ii libatk1.0-0 2.14.0-1 ii libc62.19-18+deb8u4 ii libcairo-gobject21.14.0-2.1+deb8u1 ii libcairo21.14.0-2.1+deb8u1 ii libcurl3-gnutls 7.38.0-4+deb8u3 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.31.1-2+deb8u5 ii libglib2.0-0 2.42.1-1+b1 ii libgtk-3-0 3.14.5-1+deb8u1 ii libpango-1.0-0 1.36.8-3 ii libpangocairo-1.0-0 1.36.8-3 klavaro recommends no packages. klavaro suggests no packages. -- no debconf information

Bug#628387: update-reports: Successful update; needed non-free firmware
Package: update-reports Severity: minor Upgrade from lenny to squeeze otherwise as expected, except complaint about not available firmware during upgrade. Without firmware for Intel Pro 100 ethernet card, it did not work. This host is firewall, Intel card was towards internal network. So I could access Internet but had to switch /etc/apt/sources.list back and forth between install server from Internet and approx server in my intranet. Window borders changed but otherwise Gnome works as before. Tried this metacity killing four times, every time same results. So it seems metacity is started automatically by the system, but now it causes problems. This did not happen before saturday. I still think this problem originally appeared after upgrading x11-xserver-utils to version 7.5+3_i386. On the other hand, it seems strange that downgrading to version 7.5+2 did not help. I was originally going to report bug against x11-xserver-utils, but hesitated when donwgradind the package did not help any. Now it seems metacity might be the correct package to get bug report. This Debian is originally Lenny, updated to Squeeze two weeks ago. Perhaps there is something here that is not present in freshly installed Squeeze, and that causes metacity or Gnome to throw hissy fits? I would expect lots of bug reports if all Gnome users got this problem after upgrading x11-xserver-utils. - -- Tapio Lehtonen tapio.lehto...@iki.fi -BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE- Version: GnuPG v1.4.10 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iEYEARECAAYFAk2hivQACgkQ5TuKppZVLWMoEQCfeXYabnAELObWgocc9VpNL2hv mw4AoIJBHh9Bbnu48zzwFnPo0nMBHI9X =AWI4 -END PGP SIGNATURE- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Bug#621815: xserver-xorg-core: Started taking lots of CPU and heats laptop
Package: xserver-xorg-core Version: 2:1.7.7-13 Severity: normal Today laptop started heating, lm-sensors applet shows up to 62 celsius even when idling on Gnome desktop. Previously 20 degrees cooler. Bug#598601: Now successfull install PDX-057T-5A
Subject: installation-reports: PDX-057T-5A successful install Package: installation-reports Severity: minor *** Please type your report below this line *** Installation successfull with some tweaking. This host has problems with naming memory cards and USB-memory sticks. Had to reset BIOS to default values and do the two changes manual suggests for Linux installs: Linux installation note Please forced the IDE setting in BIOS to PIO mode before install Linux on PDX-057T as follows: 1-Go to the advanced BIOS setting and make the âOnboard IDE Operate Modeâ is âLegacy Modeâ 2-Go to the PCI/PnP and make the âPCI IDE BusMasterâ is âDisable [http://www.microcomputersystems.com/PDX-057T_UM_v1r0A.pdf] Then SD-card showed up as /dev/sdb and USB stick as /dev/sda. Boot media was USB stick, installed on SD-card. Before that Ethernet seemed to send but not receive (DHCPDISCOVER and DHCPOFFER visible on DHCP-server, client claimed not to get configuration). What does not work is keyboard when at login prompt of the installed system. Keyboard worked in Installer, and does work in GRUB and if I boot in single user mode (writing this as root because in single user mode). I noticed that keyboard also stopped working when I got to rescue mode in Installer. Keyboard worked before that, I got to rescue mode just fine via the menu choices, but once there no keypress seemed to register. I marked this bug serious because on this particular hardware Lenny can not be used since naive user can not log in or do anything else either. -- Please make sure that the hardware-summary log file, and any other installation logs that you think would be useful are attached to this report. Bug#483837: linux-image-2.6.18-6-686: Clock drift about 20 seconds per hour
Package: linux-image-2.6.18-6-686 Version: 2.6.18.dfsg.1-18etch5 Severity: normal Too much clock drift with this particular kernel version. Did not have such bad drift with previous kernels. Now clock is OK with 2.6.22 kernel or if running Ubuntu on this same host. NTP can not keep clock in sync, drift is too much. Make complains all the time about timestamps, since home directories in NFS server have correct time stamps, which from this host seem to be in the future. Bug#471501: Better syslog
Now with better syslog. In english and contains Get:226 http://apt-proxy lenny/main synaptic 0.61+b1 [2124kB] Err http://apt-proxy lenny/main synaptic 0.61+b1 I stopped and started apt-proxy before install. This way all files were retrieved without errors and pretty fast. I tried this twice, seems apt-proxy works if it is restarted just prior to installation. To get the retreiving files to fail, I restarted apt-proxy in the middle of the third install. Now syslog has those errors about not being able to get files. I added set -x to pkgsel.postinst when installer showed Partition disks, in the Write changes to disk step. -- Tapio Lehtonen [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.iki.fi/tapio.lehtonen signature.asc Description: Digital signature
Bug#471518: emacs21: Starts with all characters as a box
Package: emacs21 Version: 21.4a+1-3etch1 Severity: normal When I start emacs, characters display as an empty box. See screenshot: http://www.taleman.fi/Emacs-kumma.png If I go to Options | Mule | Set Font/Fontset and select Courier 14 pt, characters on the main window start showing properly. But still mouseover icons on the toolbar pops up a string of empty boxes. If I log in as another user on this same computer, Emacs starts showing OK characters. I have tried to fix this by: - installing all reasonable looking font packages - removing all ~/.emacs* files - removing with -rf: ~/.gnome* ~/.gtk* ~/.gconf* - removing ~/.fontconfig - playing with /etc/X11/xorg.conf I don't have ~/.Xdefaults. I tried checking also other files in my home directory that could maybe affect emacs and fonts. Originally emacs complained on startup about missing fonts. I got rid of this message with the font package installation fest. Warning: Missing charsets in String to FontSet conversion I had this same problem late last year, then it disappeared after I had messed with xorg.conf enough. Never did figure out what change was the right one. Problem came back two months ago and I even tried other editors, but I want Emacs. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-6-686 Locale: LANG=fi_FI.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fi_FI.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages emacs21 depends on: ii emacs21-bin-common 21.4a+1-3etch1The GNU Emacs editor's shared, arc ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-13etch5 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libice61:1.0.1-2 X11 Inter-Client Exchange library ii libjpeg62 6b-13 The Independent JPEG Group's JPEG ii libncurses55.5-5 Shared libraries for terminal hand ii libpng12-0 1.2.15~beta5-1PNG library - runtime ii libsm6 1:1.0.1-3 X11 Session Management library ii libtiff4 3.8.2-7 Tag Image File Format (TIFF) libra ii libungif4g 4.1.4-4 shared library for GIF images ii libx11-6 2:1.0.3-7 X11 client-side library ii libxext6 1:1.0.1-2 X11 miscellaneous extension librar ii libxmu61:1.0.2-2 X11 miscellaneous utility library ii libxpm41:3.5.5-2 X11 pixmap library ii libxt6 1:1.0.2-2 X11 toolkit intrinsics library ii xaw3dg 1.5+E-14 Xaw3d widget set ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3-13compression library - runtime emacs21 recommends no packages. -- no debconf information # nvidia-xconfig: X configuration file generated by nvidia-xconfig # nvidia-xconfig: version 1.0 ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) Thu Feb 14 18:20:37 PST 2008 # /etc/X11/xorg.conf (xorg X Window System server configuration file) # # This file was generated by dexconf, the Debian X Configuration tool, using # values from the debconf database. # # Edit this file with caution, and see the /etc/X11/xorg.conf manual page. # (Type man /etc/X11/xorg.conf at the shell prompt.) # # This file is automatically updated on xserver-xorg package upgrades *only* # if it has not been modified since the last upgrade of the xserver-xorg # package. # # If you have edited this file but would like it to be automatically updated # again, run the following command: # sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg Section ServerLayout Identifier Default Layout Screen Default Screen 0 0 InputDeviceGeneric Keyboard InputDeviceConfigured Mouse EndSection Section Files # path to defoma fonts FontPath/usr/share/fonts/X11/misc FontPath/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc FontPath/usr/share/fonts/X11/cyrillic FontPath/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/cyrillic FontPath/usr/share/fonts/X11/100dpi/:unscaled FontPath/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi/:unscaled FontPath/usr/share/fonts/X11/75dpi/:unscaled FontPath/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi/:unscaled FontPath/usr/share/fonts/X11/Type1 FontPath/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Type1 FontPath/usr/share/fonts/X11/100dpi FontPath/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi FontPath/usr/share/fonts/X11/75dpi FontPath/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi FontPath/var/lib/defoma/x-ttcidfont-conf.d/dirs/TrueType EndSection Section Module Load bitmap Load ddc Load extmod Load freetype Load glx Load int10 Load v4l Load vbe EndSection Section InputDevice Identifier Generic Keyboard Driver kbd Option CoreKeyboard Option XkbRules xorg Option

Bug#410354: Change 'Suomeksi' to 'suomi'
After discussions on irc, e-mail and BTS, I have come to the conclusion that suomi is the best translation. Rationale: this is the official way the name of the finnish language is written in finnish. The translation Suomeksi works in this particular Debian context, but to be consistent with the Debian web pages suomi is better. Additionally, since I was told Debian localechooser is used as upstream for some other uses of language names, it is best to use the official language name. Bug#410354: Suomi vs. Suomeksi
I did not see an e-mail about this, but was contacted in IRC and read the bug report. I translated Suomeksi, because at one time it was asked to use in Finnish as the original text, so I changed Suomi to Suomeksi. Timo Jyrinki is correct in pointing out that this is factually wrong and inconsistent with the other languages. It is OK to change this to Suomi, and I won't raise a fuss, but Suomeksi is good in showing that it is language, not country. With capital first letter, Suomi can be country or language. I like Suomeksi, because choosing that shows the installer in Finnish, so it is a good translation. -- Tapio Lehtonen [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.iki.fi/tapio.lehtonen signature.asc Description: Digital signature
Bug#410512: Further information, new USB-stick works
I continued trying the installation from USB-memory, this time with another memory stick, this time 512 MB. The longer method with syslinux and copying files on stick by hand produced on booting the message: No operating system found When I did install-mbr, I got MBR Boot failure Next I tried zcatting the boot.img.gz, I worked with the same set of files as on saturday. This worked, boot went OK and I installed successfully. Is it somehow possible to know before trying all methods and different USB memories what way of creating the USB boot media works? Or a simpler and faster way than trying installation to check if the created USB memory is OK? I used the USB memory I tried first, the 256 MB size, two and a half years ago to install this same host. Then the only way I got it to boot was with GRUB. -- Tapio Lehtonen [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.iki.fi/tapio.lehtonen -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Bug#379396: gtranslator: Autosave function marks file saved, possibility to lose data
Package: gtranslator Version: 1.1.6-1 Severity: important If gtranslator autosave feature is turned on, edited file is saved by default to filename.po.autosave. The file is marked as saved and the save button is grayed out. This is bad, since the latest changes are saved only to the autosave file, and if user does not check time stamps on files user does not realise the latest edits are only in the autosave file, and part of data is lost when work continues on the original file. Autosave must not mark the file as saved, allowing user to save his work to the file being edited in the usual way. This same bug is also present in the newer version of gtranslator in Ubuntu 6.06. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.8-3-686-smp Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=ISO-8859-15) Versions of packages gtranslator depends on: ii libart-2.0-2 2.3.17-1 Library of functions for 2D graphi ii libaspell150.60.2+20050121-2 The GNU Aspell spell-checker runti ii libatk1.0-01.8.0-4 The ATK accessibility toolkit ii libbonobo2-0 2.8.1-2 Bonobo CORBA interfaces library ii libbonoboui2-0 2.8.1-2 The Bonobo UI library ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-22sarge3GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libgconf2-42.8.1-6 GNOME configuration database syste ii libglib2.0-0 2.6.4-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgnome2-02.8.1-2 The GNOME 2 library - runtime file ii libgnomecanvas2-0 2.8.0-1 A powerful object-oriented display ii libgnomeui-0 2.8.1-3 The GNOME 2 libraries (User Interf ii libgnomevfs2-0 2.8.4-4 The GNOME virtual file-system libr ii libgtk2.0-02.6.4-3.1 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libgtkspell0 2.0.10-1 a spell-checking addon for GTK's T ii libice64.3.0.dfsg.1-14sarge1 Inter-Client Exchange library ii liborbit2 1:2.12.2-1libraries for ORBit2 - a CORBA ORB ii libpango1.0-0 1.8.1-1 Layout and rendering of internatio ii libpopt0 1.7-5 lib for parsing cmdline parameters ii libsm6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-14sarge1 X Window System Session Management ii libxml22.6.16-7 GNOME XML library ii xlibs 4.3.0.dfsg.1-14sarge1 X Keyboard Extension (XKB) configu ii zlib1g 1:1.2.2-4.sarge.2 compression library - runtime -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Bug#345916: With long comment gtranslator window is wider than screen
Package: gtranslator Version: 1.1.6-1 Severity: minor With the .po file attached and using flwm window manager, gtranslator opens its window wider than the screen. This makes editing the item difficult, the msgid and msgstr are not visible because they are beyond the right edge of the screen. This is doubly annoying: gtranslator saves the window size when it exits. So the too wide window persists even to the next runs until user manages to set it narrower. While gtranslator displays the item with too long lines, the window can not be made narrower. I suppose this happens when comment has long lines. I tried adding line breaks to the comment and problem goes away. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.8-2-k7-smp Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=ISO-8859-15) Versions of packages gtranslator depends on: ii libart-2.0-2 2.3.17-1 Library of functions for 2D graphi ii libaspell150.60.2+20050121-2 The GNU Aspell spell-checker runti ii libatk1.0-01.8.0-4 The ATK accessibility toolkit ii libbonobo2-0 2.8.1-2 Bonobo CORBA interfaces library ii libbonoboui2-0 2.8.1-2 The Bonobo UI library ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-22 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libgconf2-42.8.1-6 GNOME configuration database syste ii libglib2.0-0 2.6.4-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgnome2-02.8.1-2 The GNOME 2 library - runtime file ii libgnomecanvas2-0 2.8.0-1 A powerful object-oriented display ii libgnomeui-0 2.8.1-3 The GNOME 2 libraries (User Interf ii libgnomevfs2-0 2.8.4-4 The GNOME virtual file-system libr ii libgtk2.0-02.6.4-3 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libgtkspell0 2.0.10-1 a spell-checking addon for GTK's T ii libice64.3.0.dfsg.1-14sarge1 Inter-Client Exchange library ii liborbit2 1:2.12.2-1libraries for ORBit2 - a CORBA ORB ii libpango1.0-0 1.8.1-1 Layout and rendering of internatio ii libpopt0 1.7-5 lib for parsing cmdline parameters ii libsm6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-14sarge1 X Window System Session Management ii libxml22.6.16-7 GNOME XML library ii xlibs 4.3.0.dfsg.1-14sarge1 X Keyboard Extension (XKB) configu ii zlib1g 1:1.2.2-4.sarge.2 compression library - runtime -- no debconf information # Finnish translation of gtranslator-bug. # Copyright (C) 2006 Free Software Foundation, Inc. # Tapio Lehtonen [EMAIL PROTECTED], 2006. # , fuzzy # # msgid msgstr Project-Id-Version: gtranslator-bug 0.01\n Report-Msgid-Bugs-To: \n POT-Creation-Date: (null)\n PO-Revision-Date: 2006-01-04 11:04+0200\n Last-Translator: Tapio Lehtonen [EMAIL PROTECTED]\n Language-Team: Finnish [EMAIL PROTECTED]\n MIME-Version: 1.0\n Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8\n Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit #. First reboot of system made system spew out error messages about eth0. Sorry, did not write them down. Then booted using grub recovery item, that worked. Timezone seems to be GMT+0, not EET as it should be for Finland. Command date shows: Fri Mar 25 06:37:00 UTC 2005 Now realised the timezone is wrong because never did systen configuration at first boot of system. Because recovery kernel booted, and could not find anything wrong, tried normal boot again. Now it worked. It asked me about timezone etc things. So everything worked as it should except that first reboot. This is such an old machine that it may have been a temporary glitch, and not any fault of the Debian GNU/Linux installer.
