Bug#352050: Fix this (trivial?) issue?

Thanks - the diff is against another version you did to enable XAUTH support, but I think I'll manage to apply it ;-) Hope that all this will help your maintenance work. Thanks a lot. And this xauth-enabled version didn't even work with the XAUTH setup we have at work. No idea whether this is me not udnerstanding all this (very likely) of openswan having problems with XAUTH when the encryption used for IKE has to be forced. Anyway, I should probably report this separately...:) signature.asc Description: Digital signature

I fail to understand why this issue, which seems trivial, is not yet fixed. I went on it while trying to build a custom openswan on my system and I hereby propose to quickly build a NMU to fix this FTBFS. However, as openswan seems quite actively maintained, there may be good reasons for not fixing the issue and I'd like to get the maintainer's input before NMU'ing. -- signature.asc Description: Digital signature

Honestly, lack of time I went on it while trying to build a custom openswan on my system and I hereby propose to quickly build a NMU to fix this FTBFS. Please go forward with it! I will try to get up to speed as soon as possible again. Thanks for asking, I really appreciate it. You are right, I try to keep openswan in good shape - just right now is a bad time. best regards, Rene pgpquk14c2FDo.pgp Description: PGP signature

If you're OK, I can also try to deal with the pending bug (from Clytie) mentioning typos/errors in the debconf templates and handle this without breaking existing translations. And, while I'm at it, I can also add the pending debconf translation(s). If you think that this is too much at a time, then I'll only fix the FTBFS. I owe you this as I use openswan daily and am really happy with it (except not being able to use XAUTH client, which seems to be an upstream bug). signature.asc Description: Digital signature

I am certainly OK with it - I will just review it as soon as I find time and ack the NMU. with best regards, Rene -- - Gibraltar firewall http://www.gibraltar.at/ pgpvdV6M0TaJr.pgp Description: PGP signature
