I downloaded the source and the original patch still works. Could this be fixed? Thank you. However, fixing this in the Debian package would mean adding a build-dependency on gettext, which I'm not sure it is a good idea for such a tiny change. What about asking the author to release a new diffutils stable release? Hello, What about asking the author to release a new diffutils stable release? That way this bug would be fixed automatically, which is how translation bugs are ideally supposed to be fixed.
