Bug#592306: debian-i18n: Upstream source translation information seems to lack Java support

2013-07-07 Thread Andreas Tille
Hi David,

thanks for the clarification. I was able to download the files and will
try to adapt the UDD importer when traveling back from FISL today.

Regarding to the question in your previous mail: There is another
translation system that might be worth for considering. It is used by
Qt (for instance in package texmaker). (I did not checked your data -
so if this is just supported please forget this comment.)

Kind regards

  Andreas.

Not sure adding any other upstream translation format is desirable
though.

Many thanks for working on this. I would like to have a look onto the

but the host

seems to be unavailable.

ANy idea?

Bug#592306: debian-i18n: Upstream source translation information seems to lack Java support

2010-10-30 Thread Andreas Tille
Hi,

in addition to ignoring the application translations in Java
applications I learned that there are some Qt applications which are
providing just another way of translating strings is implemented in Qt
(see man lupdate-qt) and I observed some translations in the texmaker
package which are also not recorded in

http://i18n.debian.net/material/data/

So I wonder whether you intend to update your i18n application parsing
scripts regarding this. (If not just state here clearly so may be I
might give it a try myself - a link to the code would be great in the
later case.)

Kind regards

Andreas.

Bug#592306: debian-i18n: Upstream source translation information seems to lack Java support

2010-08-17 Thread Andreas Tille
Hi again,

as an additional note there is another form of translations missing from
the data you are providing. The Qt way to do the translations which ends
up in files progname_lang.qm as the can for instance be found in
texmaker

  /usr/share/texmaker/texmaker_lang.qm

are also not covered by the data files you are providing at

  http://i18n.debian.net/material/data/

I'm a bit curious why I did not got any response from Nicolas who was
formerly wuite quick in responding? Any information (preferably in
private) about reasons would be great to let me estimate a time frame
for tackling the reported problem.

Kind regards

   Andreas.

Bug#592306: debian-i18n: Upstream source translation information seems to lack Java support

2010-08-09 Thread Andreas Tille
Package: debian-i18n
Severity: normal

Hi,

you are providing data about translations in upstream source at

   http://i18n.debian.net/material/data/

and I plan to integrate this data into UDD. By chance I had a look into
the package geogebra I noticed that it contains translation files named

   geogebra/properties/command_LANG.properties

which should be included as well into the data provided above because
this seems to be the Java way to provide translations.

Kind regards and thanks for providing the data for upstream translations

 Andreas.
