Hi *. Since the last update of rrdtool was a binary only upload, I suspected the compiler to be the problem. And lo and behold, I recompiled the package with gcc-4.4 and this resolved the bug. But the real fix is http://oss.oetiker.ch/rrdtool-trac/changeset/2069, referenced from http://oss.oetiker.ch/rrdtool-trac/ticket/262. Package: rrdtool Version: 1.4.3-1+b1 Severity: important It appears the last update of the rrdtool package (1.4.3) is not able to work with existing RRD databases. Any invocation of a program from the rrdtool suite yields the following message: ERROR: This RRD was created on another architecture A quick search tells I should try to dump and restore the RRD database, but obviously rrdtool dump can't read the RRD file either, and I don't have rrdtool 1.4.2 available anymore.
