Bug#685589: qsstv: segfault when received image is saved
Benoit, Are you still seeing this bug with the latest version of qsstv? Please try to test this as soon as possible and let me know. 73, Colin G8TMV -- Colin Tuckley | +44(0)1223 830814 | PGP/GnuPG Key Id Debian Developer | +44(0)7799 143369 | 0x38C9D903
Bug#685589: qsstv: segfault when received image is saved
Seems to be working fine. Tested 8.2.12-1 on amd64, and it now saves images without any segfaults. Thanks! -- Kind regards, Jesper Henriksen

Bug#685589: qsstv: segfault when received image is saved
I have just uploaded qsstv_8.2.11-1 to unstable. Once it has time to reach the mirrors I'd be grateful if people could give it a try and see if this segfault bug is fixed by the new upstream release. It seems there are no debugging symbols compiled in, and no qsstv-dbg package available (I assume that's what I should look for), and I'm not set up to compile one myself. tags 685589 unreproducible thanks I've never seen this behavior in the past. And my recent attempts to reproduce it (on amd64) have failed. Bug#685589: qsstv: segfault when received image is saved
Package: qsstv Version: 7.1.7-3 Severity: important It looks like the bug can reproduced that way: create an empty directory in which to store received images. Receive one image. Receive a second image, when receiving is fully done a segfault occurs. If only a partial image is received the problem does not occur (or not always). If the directory is empty it also does not occur. I suppose the cash happens when sstv tryes to save the image.
