I confess I haven't tested the patch since my mirror is woefully out of
date, I'm not even 100% sure this is the right place to put it, but it
seems correct by inspection of the CD/DVD cases.

 No problem, applied now.

Cool, thanks!

Should we also do the same for the normal DVDs? At the moment it's
just set for the multi-arch DVD.

That would be great, if there is space and/or it won't knock something
important off DVD1. IIRC the original concern which lead to Xen only
being on multi-arch images was about blowing up the netinst CD where the
fractional increase was a more significant %age, I think the same
concern doesn't really extend to the DVD images though?

On i386 I think we now include the pae kernel packages on the DVD1 by
default anyway (for native usage) so the increase would be only +~20M
for the PAE installer kernel and initrd to support Xen

On amd64 there is no real size increase, since Xen uses the regular
kernel and the cdrom/xen installer is actually just a symlink (for
consistency with 32 bit). It's ~12K, which, I suspect, is mostly
rounding slop in the ISO format.

That will help, but then the issue is more a problem with downloading
the images. I've got a full mirror at home, which helps immensely with
 jigdo downloads.

I can try and arrange to have a full local mirror at the BSP which I can
sync at work on the Friday beforehand if that'll help.

I've had people claim that they actually make the sun rise rise every
morning. I've offered to test them by shooting them. So far all these
people have not responded to my endeavours.
