I was working on sunsite.org.uk, so I jumped to another rsync server : I still haven't found this binary-i386-3.iso. I'm sure it exists as I got the .list one time, and it is mentioned in MDSUMS so... You understood it, I talk about brand-new 2.2. Please send me an rsync adress in which I'm sure to get this 3rd image : I'm impatient to burn it :]... We at ftp.se.debian.org have all i386 and source images. As do trumpetti.atm.tut.fi. Our machine (ftp.se.debian.org) is rather slow, so we only allow 8 rsyncs, but there shouldn't be that much of a problem of getting in now. I'm currently working on the other architectures, trumpetti.atm.tut.fi has most but not the NONUS images among the other architectures. And neither has any mirror I have found in the rsync-mirror-listing. /Mattias Wadenstein -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Re: rsync - binary-i386-3.iso
Mattias Wadenstein [EMAIL PROTECTED] I'm currently working on the other architectures, trumpetti.atm.tut.fi has most but not the NONUS images among the other architectures. And neither has any mirror I have found in the rsync-mirror-listing. trumpetti.atm.tut.fi currently has arm, i386, m68k, powerpc and source available. Only i386 and source have NONUS images, which I managed to get on Monday, when they had just arrived at c.d.o. I am currently trying to rsync my arm, m68k and powerpc TC3 NONUS images to 2.2_rev0 images but have had no luck with c.d.o. It's either full or I get 1MB and then the connection times out. I even downgraded my rsync from 2.4.2 to 2.3.1 but it made no difference. If anyone has the NONUS images available, please speak up :-) Also, has anyone managed to get the alpha or sparce images? // Heikki -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". (No, I'm not joking) BTW please make sure to check the md5sums of any images before making them public on mirrors --- I have a feeling open.hands.com is occasionally introducing errors as it reads its disks. If you have to re-rsync an almost right image, using a block size of 65536 seems to be reasonably quick. Is there no way to give trumpetti.atm.tut.fi and perhaps a couple of others exclusive access? Trumpetti has almost a complete set, and if a couple of mirrors could get all of the images most of the other mirrors can follow. Trumpetti is also pretty fast. Which is good. :) I have been through all mirrors listed on the rsync-mirrors page several times, and I can't find the images anywhere accessable. /Mattias Wadenstein - a bit frustrated at not being able to get the images -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
