Bug#1027399: lintian: misspelled spelling corrections
Package: lintian Version: 2.115.3 I heard you like spell-checking, so I ran your spell-checker on your spell-checker: $ grep '^[^#]' /usr/share/lintian/data/spelling/corrections | cut -d '|' -f3 | sort -u | spellintian | grep -vF '(duplicate word)' ocurrence -> occurrence ocurrences -> occurrences prefered -> preferred transfered -> transferred transfering -> transferring (Maybe worth adding something like the above to the test suite?) -- Jakub Wilk
Bug#1012467: davix ships complete lyrics of "Never Gonna Give You Up"
Source: davix Severity: serious Justification: Policy §2.2.1 test/unit/response-buffer.cpp includes the complete lyrics of Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up". To the best of my knowledge, this song hasn't been released under a free license, so... You know the rules (and so do I). A full lyrics removal is what I'm thinking of. -- Jakub Wilk

* Tollef Fog Heen <tfh...@err.no>, 2015-10-03, 20:19: . as a date separator is awful. riiight, don't ever learn Norwegian. ;o) Norwegian doesn't use «.» as a date separator, we use - (as in, 2015-10-03). Arnt is obviously confusing Norwegian with Polish, where you write “3.10.2015” or “3 X 2015”. If you're more of a traditionalist, you'd probably write «3. oktober 2015», where the «.» isn't a separator, it's punctuation to convert the 3 into an ordinal number. Trailing “.” works cardinal-to-ordinal converter in Polish too. However, most of the time use of the suffix is optional, and in fact you should not use it in dates when you spell out the month: “3 października 2015” (even though 3 is ordinal here). -- Jakub Wilk

Dear Debian Developers, The Release Team has inconsiderately decided that the codename of Debian 9 will be Stretch[0].
