It is supposed to try to mount when someone access paths under /skole/, and fail if the paths used are bogus. The question is really why is something trying to access /skole/tjener/openoffice/, not why automount complains about it. Given the name, I suspect it is openoffice itself going throught some autodetection process, and looking for ../openoffice/ in the users home directory. Hi Holger,
here is now the final patch, I it think can be comitted. I removed some
redundancy and added a few comments. The *-manual.xml file is the
same as with the older patch.
I cheched the pdf, anything seems to be ok (and the extra spaces are
gone :-) ).

How about the following change? It reports a warning rather than an error (are
warning:s reported to the user?), and the message is slightly more helpful.

Bug#569793: depends on a unavailable package, etcinsvk
[Holger Levsen] the priority of #557074 (etcinsvk uses svk, scheduled for removal) has been raised to serious, as svk has been removed from unstable today, thus making debian-edu-config uninstable in sid (as it depends on etcinsvk), thus making d-e-c seriously buggy. As far as I know, svk was removed from unstable several weeks ago, and the new etcinsvk propagated to squeeze after this because svk was still in squeeze. Do you mean that it was removed from testing today? Anyway, unless someone show up to maintain svk, we have only two choices: - Drop etcinsvk, find and adjust replacement to behave more like etcinsvk (etckeeper have been mentioned). This will give all existing installations a problem in the future, as their etcinsvk revision history is lost. - Adjust etcinsvk to support alternative to svk, and implement migration code to move the history from svk to this alternative. More work, and better for the sysadmins with etcinsvk active. When it comes to debian-edu-config, I believe the dependency can be dropped without any bad happening, both in Lenny and Squeeze. I believe there is code in debian-edu-install to install etcinsvk independent of this dependency, and the code in debian-edu-config to use etcinsvk should be protected by tests to check if it is present before using it, so the package should also work without it. Several pages outside www.slx.no are linking directly to these pages, and do not use the front page as entry page. Thats why the language selector is needed here. Yes: we want to use deep links, ie directly linking to the downloadpage. The pages being linked should feature language selectors.
