I reinstalled the nvidia driver and nothing broke. Evidently there was a
dependency issue with other packages during the upgrade.

I updated another machine with Testing without nvidia driver and the issue
didn't appear. So everything is ok now!

I managed to solve the issue, the culprit was the nvidia driver. I purged all
the nvidia proprietary packages and apt proposed to install the following:

libegl-mesa0:amd64 (17.2.2-1, automatic), libegl-mesa0:i386 (17.2.2-1,
automatic), libgbm1:i386 (17.2.2-1, automatic), mesa-vdpau-drivers:amd64
(17.2.2-1, automatic), libwayland-server0:i386 (1.14.0-1, automatic),
libglvnd0:amd64 (0.2.999+git20170802-5, automatic), libglvnd0:i386
(0.2.999+git20170802-5, automatic)

Now everything works again! But I have to check what happens if I reinstall
the nvidia driver.

Plasma and qt apps broken after upgrade in Testing

2017-10-17 Thread devfra

Hi list

I upgraded Testing this morning and now Plasma 5 and all the qt
applications are broken.

Sddm does not work, it just shows me a black screen and the mouse
cursor. I am also unable to start Plasma with another display manager
(lightdm in my case).

I am now in an xfce session, all the qt applications do not work and
give me always the same error:

kcalc: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libGL.so.1:
undefined symbol: _glapi_tls_Current
transmission-qt: symbol lookup error:
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libGL.so.1: undefined symbol:
_glapi_tls_Current
kwrite: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libGL.so.1:
undefined symbol: _glapi_tls_Current

I tried to downgrade the liblgl1 and libglx0 packages to a previous
version from debian snapshot but the problem remains.

This [0] is the list of the packages upgraded this morning. Thanks in
advance for any help.

Plasma 5.10 in Testing?

2017-10-12 Thread devfra
Hi!

Can someone give us some update about the migration of Plasma 5.10 in Testing
It started about a month ago but there are components still blocked in Sid,
such as kwin [1] and plasma-workspace [2].

Thank you!

PS: Anyone experiencing graphic glitches in Testing since this migration
started? I have to restart X at least once a day and it is becoming annoying.
