Bug#685360: [PATCH 1/1] HID: Fix missing Unifying device issue

Josip, this is a different issue from the one addressed with the patch.

 1) Can you try it on a 3.2 kernel ?

I can try that too, I'll let you know how it went.

(Unfortunately the machine is in the same room with a crib, so I don't
get a lot of time slots for testing. *shrug* :)

 2) The problem you describe, does it happen all the time ?

Yes. The keyboard simply stopped working after I upgraded to Linux 3.2.
It works fine under 3.1 and earlier, and under Windows.

Bug#678215: [wheezy] USB mouse not recognized after resuming from suspend to, RAM

Hi folks,

I have the exact same symptom here with Linux kernel 3.5-trunk from
experimental. AFAIR kernel 3.4 did fine, but I will retest that if required.

Sorry, It's really my fault for not updating the patches I did back

what about this patch in 3.5:

would be nice though, if we had a proper patch for 3.2.

If you get a chance to also try with a 3.2.y kernel (from wheezy or
squeeze-backports), that would be interesting. The only packages
needed for this test from outside squeeze would be the kernel image
itself, linux-base, and initramfs-tools.

Sorry about the multiple submissions, reportbug was telling me that SMTP
failed so I re-submitted a few times.

I'll give 3.2 a shot this weekend. I was on a previous 2.6 (can't
remember which) before this, and had the same problem.

I do have another machine that is /almost/ identical, hardware wise,
that doesn't exhibit this problem. The only software difference is that
I'm not starting the machines on a storage pool backed by DRBD.

Bug#687442: linux-image-3.2.0-3-686-pae: Add Intel Ivy Bridge support

2012-09-27 Thread Jonathan Nieder
Hi Carsten,

Carsten Grohmann wrote:

 Test package at
 http://people.debian.org/~jcristau/linux-image-3.2.0-4-amd64_3.2.30-1_amd64
.deb (the version number is wrong, and the ABI is most likely incompatible
with the official 3.2.29-1 package, but I forgot to change those :/).
 sha1sum is 9e68d152e88464b57518bf3514b7bddb6ed0365b.

I'd like to test the new package. I've installed a 32-bit system currently.

If you have a 64-bit CPU, one possibility is

sha1sum linux-image-3.2.0-4-amd64_3.2.30-1_amd64.deb
dpkg --force-architecture --install
linux-image-3.2.0-4-amd64_3.2.20-1_amd64.deb

The magic of multi-arch (well, sort of). :)

Hope that helps,
Jonathan
