  No, as you can't get a direct link to sources without JavaScript at all.
  All you can get is a list of name-version strings with links to individual
  download pages, and that won't help uscan.

 Sorry, but that's not true. The source of the https response above
 contains

 https://csb.codeplex.com/downloads/get/466454

 as direct link and it delivers the tarball in question after some
 seconds of delay.
That's JS.

 The line of html code that contains this link also
 contains the version number as link content so finally some mangling
 should work.
That's JS too.

I'm using Bugs: mailto:address for packages in my personal repository,
reportbug from squeeze does the right thing (I assume it works similarly
in wheezy and sid too, I didn't test):

Package: sponsorship-requests
Severity: normal

Dear mentors,

I am looking for a sponsor for my package libpam-ssh

* Package name: libpam-ssh
  Version : 1.92-15
  Upstream Author : Wolfgang Rosenauer
* URL : http://sourceforge.net/projects/pam-ssh
* License : BSD
  Section : admin

It builds those binary packages:

libpam-ssh - Authenticate using SSH keys

To access further information about this package, please visit the following
URL:

http://mentors.debian.net/package/libpam-ssh

Alternatively, one can download the package with dget using this command:

dget -x
http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/libp/libpam-ssh/libpam-ssh_1.92-15.dsc

More information about libpam-ssh can be obtained from
http://pam-ssh.sourceforge.net/ .

This is an intermediate package with minimal changes, mainly Debian changes,
in view to reintroduce it into Wheezy.

Changes since the last upload:

* Reintroduction release. (Closes: #685042, #664177)
* New maintainer.
* Fix rebuild issue caused by libtool. (Closes: #634577)
* debian/rules sligtly clean up.

Best regards,
Jerome BENOIT

Hi Jérôme,

Uploaded.

In the future, remember to include DEP-3 headers in your patches:
 http://dep.debian.net/deps/dep3/

As for the VCS: I don't know mercurial either, but I'm sure we can
learn. If you wish, I can advocate your collab-maint application. See:
 http://wiki.debian.org/Alioth/PackagingProject

You can send future libpam-ssh RFSes directly to me instead of or in
addition to sponsorship-requests.

Regards, Thibaut.---End Message---

Dear Bastien,

The debdiff is enormous, because you have renamed patches and added a
README.source, because you have decided to use gitpkg.

Please revert the unnecessary changes. Remember that you will have to
send a debdiff to the release team and explain the purpose of each change.

A larger debdiff means more work for the release team and less chances
for your package to be accepted in Wheezy.

I'll sponsor this upload when it is ready.

Regards, Thibaut.
