Re: [RFS] zarr, numcodecs and asctree
Dear Anton, zarr is now into unstable. Thank you again for your help. Please remember to make a source upload at some point to allow the migration to testing. I'm working on a new package for pyzoltan [1], a wrapper for the Zoltan data management library. It is an optional dependency of pysph [2] that allows to enable parallel features based on MPI. I would like to maintain pyzoltan in debian science. Are you interested to sponsor it? I have already uploaded the package on mentors.d.n [3], of course I can push the package on salsa if you create the repository form me. Hi Anton, happy new year! ... and thank you so much for working on packages during holidays :) I think that something went wrong with the numcodecs package [1]. Re: [RFS] zarr, numcodecs and asctree
Dear Anton, I think I have addressed all issues some times ago but I forgot to send you feedback. Sorry. The fixture folder (containing binary data) has been removed form sources, both from numcodecs and zarr. Also now zarr seems to build correctly: fixed missing build dependencies. kind regards antonio Il 25/10/19 23:44, Antonio Valentino ha scritto: > Dear Anton, > thank you for your support > > Il 24/10/19 21:03, Anton Gladky ha scritto: >> Hello Antonio, >> >> * asciitree is uploaded. > > ok, thanks >> * zarr and numcodecs are containing binaries in the ./fixture folders. >> I am not sure, whether we can let it go into the Debian. Hello Antonio, * asciitree is uploaded. * zarr and numcodecs are containing binaries in the ./fixture folders. I am not sure, whether we can let it go into the Debian. What is it? If it is images, I think, it is OK. * zarr needs a dependency on python3-numpydoc. And it still fails to build. Please check. Best regards. Anton Am Sa., 12. [RFS] zarr, numcodecs and asctree
Dear Debian Science maintainers, I took in charge the RFP for zarr [1] opened by Ghislain (in CC). Zarr is a Python package providing an implementation of chunked, compressed, N-dimensional arrays. Zarr depends on numcodecs and asciitree which also have ITP issues [2,3]. Please note that the ITP issue for asciitree [3] is currently assigned to Dominik in CC to this email. Please Dominik let me know you have different plans for asciitree. Zarr is also a new backend for python-xarray which is maintained in Debian Science and also it is a new dependency for satpy [5] which is maintained in Debian Gis. I would like to maintain this packages under Debian Science so I'm looking for a sponsor and also a DD that can create repositories on salsa. All the 3 packages have been also uploaded to mentors.d.net [6,7,8] in case someone wants to give them a try.
