Bonjour, Je rappelle un peu mon problème que j'avais exposé dans le fil du 8/7/08 Heure d'exécution de cron.* : Tous les matins à 7h30, mon disque dur fait des siennes (mouline) à un moment ou j'utilise mon PC. On m'a conseillé de me reveiller un peu plus tard mais c'est pas vraiment une solution (dixit mon patron). On m'a aussi conseillé de voir si il n'y avait pas un problème de fuseau horaire, là non plus rien de spécial. J'ai fait un backport de bind9 etch pour sarge. Je suis en train de le tester sur un serveur. Tu le trouveras ici deb http://boisson.homeip.net/debian sarge divers Il utilises un backport de lsb-base de debian-backports que j'ai mis sur le serveur. Merci François. J'utilise les paquets i386 de ton dépot. Peux t-on avoir quelques détails supplémentaires sur la façon dont tu as procédé pour construire ce backport de bind9 ? Sachant que je n'ai pas /etc/cron.d/anacron chez-moi, mais les entrées daily, weekly etc dans /etc/crontab, le mieux est de virer le premier et ne conserver que /etc/crontab, en changeant les valeurs à ta main. Problème gestion de batterie sur portable.
Bonjour, J'ai besoin d'aide pour résoudre le problème suivant car je ne sais vers où chercher : problème logiciel ? Problème matériel ? Après 15 jours de vacances, je rentre et branche mon portable sur le secteur : je suis étonné de voir le niveau de charge de la batterie (indiqué par kpowersave) pratiquement à 0 % ce qui n'était jamais arrivé avant. J'ai laissé charger pendant des heures mais sans jamais plus atteindre le niveau de charge maximale. Le lendemain, je procède à une mise à jour. Parmi les paquets mis à jour il y a linux-headers-2.6.18-6-686 et linux-image-2.6.18-6-686 (je ne sais si cette info est pertinente mais comme il me semble que c'est le noyau ou un module qui prend en charge la gestion de la batterie... Par la suite, je m'aperçois que kpowersave ne prend plus en charge la luminosité de l'écran. Je ne sais si c'est depuis la mise à jour ou si c'était déjà le cas après mon retour avant la mise à jour. Kpowersave me dit que le matériel ne prend pas en charge la modification de la luminosité. Pourtant il y a plus de 15 jours, mon écran s'assombrissaient bien en débranchant le secteur. Batterie défaillante ou bug dans un paquet mis à jour ? Comment récupérer la gestion de la luminosité et une charge de batterie raisonnable ? Actuellement, après quelques heures de charges, la kpowersave n'indique que 35 % chargé ! Merci pour toute piste. Mauvais choix de page, je suis au boulot, en firefox3 (sous win), et la page du clown me fait effectivement monter a 100% processeur avec firefox. Si tu hesite entre panne logiciel ou hard, je pense que la seule solution pour departager les deux, c'est utiliser un livecd pendant quelques jours, si tu n'as plus de panne, alors c'est ton systeme qui a un probleme. Witam, Uruchomilem u siebie na serwerze vsftpd 2.0.5 w polaczeniu z baza mysql - virtualni uzytkownicy oczywiscie nalezalo zmienic wpis w pam.d dotyczacy vsftpd, niestety lokalni uzytkownicy nie moga sie teraz logowac, autoryzacja dziala tylko dla uzytkownikow wpisanych w bazie. Mejoras en xine o alternativa a gstreamer/xine
Hola, Estoy montando en casa una máquina que va a hacer de media center con Debian testing. Por ahora ya he conseguido hacer funcionar la tarjeta híbrida hvr3000 para poder ver tdt o satélite. El caso es que ahora necesito un buen reproductor que pueda hacer Pass Through del audio AC3 para poder ver las películas en dvd o en avi (o el formato que sea) con Dolby Digital o DTS desde un recurso smb:// sin cortes. Por un lado el problema de Xine: Con xine puedo hacer pass through y ver DVD's sin problemas pero al acceder al recurso smb:// cada cierto tiempo el reproductor se para para pre-cargar el buffer de datos por lo cual no me vale ya que ver una película así es un coñazo, además que no tiene mucho sentido ya que la velocidad de la red da de sobra, he intentado toquetear el valor de la red desde LAN a la más lenta y el resultado es el mismo, no se que más hacer. Por otro lado gstreamer: Gstreamer no tiene problemas con smb:// y jamás se corta o se para para pre-cargar pero el Pass Through no funciona y falta hasta que lo implementen según lo que he leido por ahí. ¿Se os ocurre alguna alternativa? ¿Habeis hecho lo mismo? Otra opción que se me ocurre ahora mismo es compartir eses videos por http, con apache por ejemplo. Creo que con eso no necesita precargar nada. O sea, cero interoperabilidad. Citadel tiene un concepto parecido pero es más abierto. Está en los repos de Debian. Si quieres usar tu propio mta o servidor ldap es un poco más fácil pero el proyecto no lo aconseja y hay que hacer algunas mañas. De Citadel dicen que es muy fácil de instalar pero yo llegué a la parte del front end web y no pude seguir de ahí. Las otras opciones que tienes es opengroupware y php-groupware, que me parece que disponen de más interoperabilidad pero que no son tan lindos como las otras opciones. Scalix es muy parecido al modelo de Zimbra, me parece que es más cerrado todavía que Zimbra. También está Kolab que es muy completo pero también brinda una solución todo en uno que a mi no me gusta. ¿que tal montar el directorio para manejarlo de forma transparente? (o sea, sin smb:// sino como un directorio mas del disco, por ejemplo /mnt/samba...) Como alternativas se me ocurren mplayer y vlc. Bueno yo instala el tftpd Ahora probe desde otro touter que incluso esta en el mismo rango de ip, cambie la en inetd.conf Ahora lo configure de esta forma tftp dgram udp waitnobody /usr/sbin/in.tftpd /usr/sbin/in.tftpd /tftpboot También cree un fichero conf dentro de la carpeta tftpboot Hice los pasos en el router con otro comando copy running-config tftp y todo sigue igual, la verdad que ya no se que hacer y necestio tener esta salva de los router Slds Gilberto Ricardo Rodriguez Administrador de Red CIMEX-HOLGUIN

Hace tiempo ya que vengo con la idea de agregar en mi lan un firewall y squid. yo actualmente tengo un debian que hace de router es mediante iptables y dhcp. la idea de que eth1 se conecte por medio de un cable utp cruzado a eth1 de la nueva pc, y eth0 vaya a la lan, en ves de que eth0 de la actual pc vaya directamente al switch, me explico? lo intente varias veces pero desde un cliente no logro hacer ping a la actual pc que hace de router. Como deberia configurar las ip de las placas? normal o hay alguna configuracion especial? El fin de semana intenté actualizar a testing lo que no me resulto por lo que formatié y de esa forma puedo estar contento de tener Lenny instalado. Pero tengo mozilla-mplayer-plugin, mplayer, y w32codecs y no me reproduce el canal. Se detiene antes de comenzar. ¿Alguna luz al final del tunel? Saludos a todos, gracias de antemano. -- Que tal Julian, Por la forma en que preguntas se nota que no eres experto en el tema, y como se trata de seguridad yo lo que usualmente recomiendo es que ni te vallas directo por iptables, si no haces no sabes si estas o no protegido, lee un poco de shorewall, su página web tiene documentación excelente, al final, el lo que hace es configurar las reglas de iptables de una manera ya probada. Luego puedes hacer el trabajo mas manualmente pero con mas experiencia. Si quieres algo mas simple todavía puedes ver firestarter, es muy simple configurar lo que quieres. Suerte. MS no quiero usar shorewall, voy a usar iptables como tengo en el actual router. el tema es como configurar las placas, ya que es peertopeer la conexion, no se si se la asgina una ip como normalmente se hace o de alguna otra manera, por lo ya mencionado en el 1º mail. Problemas conn teclado 79 teclas
Hola listeros, me he comprado un teclado de goma de 79 latino/español (tiene la ñ, los acentos y demás caracteres) el único inconveniente es que no posee la tecla AltGr aunque si vienen dibujados todos los símbolos que normalmente se obtienen con dicha tecla. He leido que antes, con teclados antiguos AltGr se sustituía por Ctrl+Alt pero esto no me funciona. Uso KDE, ¿alguien sabe como puedo sustituir AltGr por otra tecla o combinación? Assim: $ grep 10\.1\.2\.4 mac.list As aspas são importantes quando você executa o comando via shell, do contrário o shell vai trocar o \. por . antes de passar a string para o grep. Wine e o Cursor transparente
Olá! Instalei o Wine afim de rodar Cossacks - The Art of War, dentre outros programas. Bom, acontece que após algum trabalho pra rodar o programa (que resolvi usando o x-wine) e pra fazer reconhecer o cdrom (que resolvi permutando os links d: e d:: entre si) agora o novo problema: Após o jogo abrir, movo o mouse e não consigo ver o cursor (não é animado), some e apenas aparece nas bordas da tela. Já tentei diversas combinações de configurações, full screen, janela, com e sem aceleração de hardware... Imagino que seja alguma coisa com o directx, uso o directx 9 (instalei com winetricks). Minhas googladas por ai me levaram ao patch do cursor [1], mas este é só i386, pra minha tristeza, uso Kubuntu Hardy pra amd64. Como eu converteria esse pacote .deb de i386 pra amd64, se é que tem como fazer isso? Alguma idéia, por favor? OT configuração de roteador D-Link 524
Olá a todos, desculpem-me esta mensagem off topic, mas agradeço qualquer dica. Comprei para meu laboratório, que tem 5 computadores rodando Debian, Ubuntu e/ou Windows XP, um roteador wireless D-Link 524. Estou em um grupo de trabalho que inclui computadores de outros laboratórios, todos com Windows. Eu utilizava um switch Encore no laboratório e, através dele, conseguia ver os computadores, compartilhar arquivos e impressoras via Samba. No entanto, quando eu o substituí pelo d-link passei apenas a enxergar na rede os computadores conectados nele e não mais os do grupo de trabalho. Este problema ocorre em Linux e Windows. O acesso à internet está OK. Minha pergunta é: alguém sabe se é possível e se há alguma configuração específica que me permita ver os outros computadores do grupo de trabalho? Sempre que tento logar nele com SquirrelMail eu tenho a mensagem *ERROR: Connection dropped by IMAP server.* Se tentar logar com usuário invalido ou senha eu tenho a resposta de usuário ou senha invalida. Toda resposta que eu tenho do log é esta ai. alterar o fmask padrão para dispositivos removíveis

Eu estou procurando um lugar para configurar o fmask usado na montagem automática de dispositivos removíveis com sistema vfat (pen drives no momento) para eliminar a permissão de execução dos arquivos neles. Suponho que isso seja uma configuração do HAL, mas não estou achando onde isso fica configurado. Minhas googladas por ai me levaram ao patch do cursor [1], mas este é só i386, pra minha tristeza, uso Kubuntu Hardy pra amd64. Como eu converteria esse pacote .deb de i386 pra amd64, se é que tem como fazer isso? Alguma idéia, por favor? alguns editores fazem backup na mesma pasta, use ls -lsa e veja se encontra algo do tipo: sources.lst~ .sources.lst sources.lst.bkp Se não encontrar, quer dizer que não tem jeito mesmo. Erro no login do servidor
Amigos, um dos meus proxyes parou do nada, e quando tento logar localmente ele não loga e apresenta um erro assim apos digitar o usuário: Usage: login [-p] [name] login [-p] [-h host] [-f name] login [-p] -r host não pede senha, e não consigo logar remotamente... será que alguém consegue me ajudar a resolver isso? att Harlei
Hypertermial e o Debian :)
Olá pessoal, boa tarde!! Há algum tempo tive um problema com o Hyperterminal do Windows XP acessando a porta serial de um Debian. Quando o boot estava carregando travava no Hyperterminal, porém, na máquina remota ele subia normalmente. Gostaria de agradecer as dicas dadas pelo *Paulo*, com as dicas pude concluir que as velocidades de transferências de bits tanto do Debian quanto a do Hyperterminal devem ser as mesmas, no meu caso comportaram-se bem a 57600. Bom, ficou assim: No arquivo */etc/inittab acrescenta-se* : *T0:2345:respawn:/sbin/getty -L ttyS0 57600 vt100* E no arquivo */boot/grub/menu.1st :* ** *serial --unit=0 --speed=57600 --word=8 --parity=no --stop=1 terminal --timeout=10 serial console* na linha do Kernel desse mesmo arquivo: *ro console=ttys0, 57600n8 console=tty0* No Hyperterminal deve-se criar uma conexão com a porta serial com a mesma velocidade configurada no inittab e no grub, no meu caso 57600 ( velocidade de transmissão até que bem boa ). Pronto, ficou bem legal acessar o Debian de uma máquina remota com o Hyperterminal... Obrigado pelas dicas e espero que isto ajude outras pessoas. Ricardo Pereira Tosta.

Não foi criado o diretório do seu usuário, este é o erro. Mande um email para ele antes que o courier irá criar a pasta, e depois tente novamente. Acho que sim, lembro de ter lido o povo falando que o Compiz afetava o Wine de alguma forma. Boa noite, Eu gostaria que o apt, não atualiza-se o kernel do meu sistema. Estou utilizando o debian etch, na documentação mostra que precisar criar o arquivo /etc/apt/preference, declarando o tipo de política (stable) com a prioridade. Não entendi direito sobre a prioridade, e versão do sistema. Um exemplo: Eu poderia utilizar * (Coringa) na versão do kernel ? Package: linux-image* Pin: release a=stable Pin-Priority: 1000 obrigado

intel i945 + Debian Testing = BSOD (BLACK Screen Of Death)
Olá a todos, estou usando o Debian Testing no meu Dell Dimension 5150 P4HT 512MB RAM com vídeo Intel i945G e de um tempo para cá estou observando uma instabilidade fora do comum no X (pelo menos no gnome, que eu uso 100% do tempo, os outros WM não sei dizer), o que ocorre é que aleatoriamente o X cai, a tela fica preta, uma perfeita BSOD só que B de Black, é possível teclar CTRL+ALT+F1 e cair num terminal texto, porém ao logar como root e dar o comando invoke-rc.d gdm restart o X não volta mais (Droga, agora não lembro a mensagem de erro ! Posto assim que o X cair de novo...) só rebootando o sistema. Eu ouvi que o Testing congelou, será que vai pro Stable com esse problema ? Resolvi isso do regedit reinstalando o wine, fiz a parada lá do post mas não deu certo. Bom, a coisa é, não roda animação alguma! Esse jogo é tipo um warcraft da vida e é possível jogar mesmo com o mouse invisivel pois ele só coloca a primeira imagem, as demais da animação não aparecem, fica estático. Sugestão? No I am not using an ATi card - rather a nVidia GeForce 8500. Before the IW3.0 upgrade, pages rendered fine. Now the images are fuzzy and the text looks a bit scratchy. NFS problems with Mac client
Hi I am having some problems with my new mini mac connecting to my debian amd64 nfs server. I have other linux clients that are working well with nfs. Packet #42 is an FSSTAT call by UID 502 that does not get a response. From the looks of it, it would seem the server is choking/stalling on requests that are being performed by the non-root credential: UID 502 GID 20:98:102:101 Something definitely seems wrong on the server. my nas box talks to a ldap server, I don't have uid 502, but that shouldn't stall nfs I would have thought. The mails I Cc'd you had Reply-To and Mail-Followup-To set (this one doesn't, but I think you didn't use mutt). I always use mutt's Reply-To-List. My guess is you have a 'subscribe' stanza for this list in your muttrc. This is actually not needed, mutt does the Right Thing (tm) by default. Hi, I'm having some troubles with the DP SmartArray 6400 controller. You still have a Reply-To: header and some clients might interpret it as a request for Cc.
