Bonjour, Afin de me rendre la tache plus facile, j'ai modifié mon /etc/aliases. Créant ainsi une sorte de liste de diffusion. Jusqu'ici pas de soucis. Tous fonctionne trés bien. Mais, les autres membres de ma familles me demande de pouvoir utiliser les même facilité. Toutefois, je ne me vois pas autorisé l'accés a ce fichier par tous le monde. Je suis donc a la recherche d'une autre solution. Si possible accesible a des béotien en informatique (pire que moi!!! :-) Merci d'avance signature.asc Description: Digital signature

Règlage de la luminosité sur un Samsung NC10
Bonjour, J'ai installé une Debian Lenny sur un netbook Samsung NC10 : tout fonctionne à peu près correctement, y compris le wifi une fois installé un noyau récent (le 2.6.28), sauf un détail qui m'ennuie bien : les touches de fonctions gérant la luminosité n'ont pas d'effet, ce qui est parfois très gênant, surtout sur un netbook. Le problème semble être connu sur le net, mais j'ai du mal à trouver sa solution, surtout sur une Debian ; or, j'aimerais comprendre où agir pour corriger cela et que tout fonctionne une fois qq paquets mis à jour ; le problème est que je ne sais pas où agir. 1er problème : le noyau ne semble pas reconnaître les touches de fonction : j'ai donc dû ajouter des commandes dans /etc/rc.local pour qu'il le reconnaisse : #!/bin/sh -e # # rc.local # # This script is executed at the end of each multiuser runlevel. # Make sure that the script will exit 0 on success or any other # value on error. # # In order to enable or disable this script just change the execution # bits. # # By default this script does nothing. # définit les touches de luminosité : setkeycodes e008 225 setkeycodes e009 224 exit 0 Cela semble correct, mais je ne sais pas si cela est un problème du noyau ou d'un paquet périphérique ? 2ème problème : HAL ne reconnaissait pas les touches : j'ai fini par trouver qu'il suffisait de récupérer le paquet hal-info de Sid (version 20090309-1) pour que HAL reconnaîsse les touches : si l'on lance : « lshal -m » dans une console et que l'on appuie les touches, on a bien : 13:41:57.536: platform_i8042_i8042_KBD_port_logicaldev_input condition ButtonPressed = brightness-down 13:41:58.745: platform_i8042_i8042_KBD_port_logicaldev_input condition ButtonPressed = brightness-up Là, c'est ok. 3ème problème : HAL a beau reconnaître les touches, il ne se passe rien du coté de l'écran, la luminosité reste toujours identique :-( Et là, je ne sais pas par où chercher ! J'utilise le bureau Gnome, et pour déboguer, ce n'est pas le plus simple… De même dans les consoles virtuelles, aucune réaction lorsque les touches sont actionnées. Impossible de se logger sur la machine après migration vers Lenny
Bonjour, je me suis enfin décidé à migrer d'Etch vers Lenny, j'ai comme toujours suivi les notes de livraisons, et tout semblait s'etre bien passé, sauf qu'au redémarrage suivant, je ne peux plus me logger sur la machine ! L'erreur est une bibliothèque non trouvée (libdl.so.2) ?? Un redémarrage en mode failsafe sur le noyau fourni par Lenny (2.6.26) me donne bien une console root (cf log ci dessous), mais je ne peux quasiment rien en faire (meme erreur si je tente un su). Je suis complètement sec, et surtout je ne trouve rien sur Internet sur ce problème spécifique... Salut As tu regarder ça : https://help.ubuntu.com/community/NC10 Ubuntu 8.10 ne gérait pas non plus les touches de luminosité, j'utilisais alors xbacklight. Maintenant c'est corrigé avec la 9.04. Le problème semble être connu sur le net, mais j'ai du mal à trouver sa solution, surtout sur une Debian ; or, j'aimerais comprendre où agir pour corriger cela et que tout fonctionne une fois qq paquets mis à jour ; le problème est que je ne sais pas où agir. 1er problème : le noyau ne semble pas reconnaître les touches de fonction : j'ai donc dû ajouter des commandes dans /etc/rc.local pour qu'il le reconnaisse : #!/bin/sh -e # # rc.local # # This script is executed at the end of each multiuser runlevel. # Make sure that the script will exit 0 on success or any other # value on error. # # In order to enable or disable this script just change the execution # bits. # # By default this script does nothing. # définit les touches de luminosité : setkeycodes e008 225 setkeycodes e009 224 exit 0 Cela semble correct, mais je ne sais pas si cela est un problème du noyau ou d'un paquet périphérique ? 2ème problème : HAL ne reconnaissait pas les touches : j'ai fini par trouver qu'il suffisait de récupérer le paquet hal-info de Sid (version 20090309-1) pour que HAL reconnaîsse les touches : si l'on lance : « lshal -m » dans une console et que l'on appuie les touches, on a bien : 13:41:57.536: platform_i8042_i8042_KBD_port_logicaldev_input condition ButtonPressed = brightness-down 13:41:58.745: platform_i8042_i8042_KBD_port_logicaldev_input condition ButtonPressed = brightness-up Là, c'est ok. 3ème problème : HAL a beau reconnaître les touches, il ne se passe rien du coté de l'écran, la luminosité reste toujours identique :-( Et là, je ne sais pas par où chercher ! J'utilise le bureau Gnome, et pour déboguer, ce n'est pas le plus simple… De même dans les consoles virtuelles, aucune réaction lorsque les touches sont actionnées. Personnellement, je te conseille aussi d'ajouter les lignes suivantes dans /etc/fstab : none/tmptmpfs defaults,size=100M 0 0 none/var/tmptmpfs defaults,size=20M 0 0 none/var/logtmpfs defaults,size=10M 0 0 Pour eviter d'ecrire des fichiers temporaires sur la SSD (nombre d'ecritures limitées et temps d'acces lent) Ainsi que de modifier le fichier /etc/default/rcS : RAMRUN=yes RAMLOCK=yes Pour les mêmes raisons (tu dispose de 1Go de RAM, tu verras que ca ne gene pas d'en prendre un peu pour ca, au contraire) Comme ca, j'ai les fichiers temporaires en mémoire, je n'use pas la mémoire flash du SSD, en plus, ça va nettement plus vite. J'ai le swap et /home, sur la carte SD car je l'use et je pourrai plus facilement la changer lorsqu'elle sera cramée (j'ai mis une carte 16Go et je fais des compilations). Ensuite, comme le second lecteur de SD (droite) n'est reconnu que si une carte s'y trouve au boot, mais qu'il est reconnu en mmcblk0 et décale donc le lecteur de gauche (dans lequel j'ai /home et swap), j'ai du indiquer dans /etc/fstab un montage par label, mais j'aurais pu utiliser les UUID : #/dev/mmcblk0p1 /home ext2relatime,nodev,nosuid 0 2 LABEL=home /home ext2relatime,nodev,nosuid 0 2 #/dev/mmcblk0p2 noneswapsw 0 0 LABEL=swap noneswapsw 0 0 Tu risques de devoir quand même recompiler ton noyau en activant l'option : CONFIG_MMC_UNSAFE_RESUME=y Sinon, si tu mets ton PC en veille avec une partition montée depuis la MMC, tu vas flinguer la table de partitions sur la MMC et aller droit dans un freeze. Tu peux aussi installer le paquet 'prelink' qui accellerera les démarrages d'applications. J'ai pris l'habitude de lancer une séquence de commandes apres les mises a jours : /etc/cron.daily/mlocate /etc/cron.daily/prelink sync Au final, les seuls fichiers accédés en ecriture (find / -xdev -mtime -1) sont ceux des listes de paquets. N'hésite pas si tu as des questions. J'ai un peu cherché, mais maintenant tout est stable (sauf le pilote video avec xscreensaver-gl et xcompmgr, parfois). Je démarre en 45 secondes, les mises en veille et en hibernation sont rapides... Si tu veux, je peux te donner le paquet .deb pour le noyau. Mais j'ai essayé de compiler un maximum en dur pour ce qui concerne le matériel inamovible et tout ce qui a une chance d'etre connecté en module. J'oubliais, pour limiter les ecritures sur la carte SD, dans le swap, je demande au noyau d'eviter tout déplacement inutile de pages mémoire vers le swap : /etc/sysctl.conf : # Dont swap unless absolutely necessary vm.swappiness=1 et j'ai ajouté ces lignes pour améliorer les performances d'accès à la SSD, mais je ne les ai pas parfaitement comprises et je n'ai pas noté de réel amélioration. Bonsoir, Dans le kde 4.2 de debian squeeze, quelqu'un a déja réussi à ajouter manuellement une application? Par exemple, depuis le bureau j'ai crée un lien vers une application, pour le firefox de mozilla, mais je n'arrive pas à l'intégrer manuellement dans le menu de kde. AMSN et PROXY et WEBCAM
Bonsoir à tous, J'ai sur mon serveur SQUID (port 3128) et SQUIDGUARD, mon fils utilise AMSN sous MANDRIVA. Celui-ci fonctionne parfaitement sauf pour les données émises par une WEBCAM et reçus par une WEBCAM. Comment configurer SQUID pour que AMSN fonctionne parfaitement. Merci à tous. Ca n'arrive quasiment jamais, j'ai fait correspondre une suspension en RAM à la combinaison Fn+F3 ! ;-) Oui, tu peux redéfinir les scancodes des touches Fn+Fx et de l'interrupteur Wifi. Attention à ce sujet, Fn+F7 et l'interrupteur Wifi retournent un scancode différent une fois sur deux (ce sont des bascules). De plus, Fn+F7 active et desactive le touchpad sans que l'on ne puisse rien y faire. De même, l'interrupteur Wifi active/Desactive l'emission/reception radio matériellement, sans désactiver l'interface wifi dans son enseble. On a l'impression que le pilote ou la carte sont en panne. Enfin, il arrive que la carte wifi se mette dans un etat tel que le pilote n'arrive plus à la reinitialiser. Tu ne vois plus les réseaux. Il faut faire un arret electrique complet (tu peux faire une suspension sur disque pour ca), retirer la batterie et débrancher le secteur pendant 1 à 3 minutes. Lenny aun tiene la 3.0.6 y ya van por la 3.0.10, hasta hace un tiempo actualizaban razonablemente rapido, pero ahora esto se ha quedado paradoes posible instalar firefox directamente de mozilla.org o hay algunos paquetes deb para instalar en lenny disponibles por ahi? De hecho no es necesario, un poco de udev + usb-modeswitch y wvdial sirve para (casi) cualquier compañía. El paquete de escritorio-movistar incluye el firmware para arrancar algunos dispositivos huawei que no funcionan plugplay. En unstable esta el deb de iceweasel 3.0.9 que es el ultimo de icecat y iceweasel, yo llevo 2 días queriendo ponerle flash al firefox es 64bits y he hecho muchos malavares pero aun no lo he logrado UU! Los menus de la aplicacion dejan de funcionar, o quedan desordenados, asi como tambien se pierden los comandos asociados a las teclas de funcion. Antes esto no me presentaba problema, pues yo usaba la aplicacion desde una tty, y los usuarios se conectaban por putty (desde windows) y todo funcionaba bien. Pero ahora, que estoy necesitando usarla desde gnome directamente con una consola X (asi sea gnome-terminal, o aterm, o xterm, o la que sea) necesito tener todas las funcionalidades del programa, sin tener que usarla exclusivamente desde una tty. Hace tiempo detecte un problema similar, al intentar usar MC desde gnome-terminal, en cual no podia salr del MC con la tecla F10, pues lo que hacia era abrirme el menu Archivo del gnome-terminal. En ese momento no le preste atencion, y simplemente cierro la consola y listo. Pero ya para este caso si necesito entender porque se cambian las configuraciones. Que diferencia existe entre las tty y las consolas X? La aplicación que utilizo está hecha en C, emulada con los módulos de ABI ya que originalmente funcionaba en SCO. El problema que se me presenta es que se desconfiguran los menús hechos con caracteres y las teclas de función no trabajan. Lo único que he podido hacer funcionar es putty (pero el exe con wine ya que el que viene con Lenny tiene el mismo problema). Creo que el problema viene dado por la codificación de caracteres. Sen jag installerade console-setup så funkar inte det med åäö och teckentabellen som väljs är inte den som såg ut som CP 437 som det var innan, så ramar runt fönster i aptitude och annat ser mystiskt ut. Έχει κάθε δικαίωμα να χρησιμοποιεί ότι πρόγραμμα θέλει ο χρήστης αυτός... Το μόνο που θέλω εγώ είναι να μην αποκλείει το ODF και να με «υποχρεώνει» να χρησιμοποιήσω το κλειστό format. Υπάρχουν λύσεις: http://odf-converter.sourceforge.net/ http://www.sun.com/software/star/odf_plugin/index.jsp ...και ίσως και άλλες που δεν γνωρίζω. Κατ' αρχήν να συγχαρώ τον Γιάννη για το θέμα που άνοιξε, κατά δεύτερον τον Thanos για την πολύ καλή πρόταση του. Πιστεύω πως λύσεις σαν την πρόταση του Thanos πρέπει να εφαρμοστούν άμεσα από τους διαχειριστές που είτε ενδιαφέρονται για την προώθηση του ανοικτού λογισμικού είτε όχι - πιεζόμενοι από εμάς. Εδώ πρέπει να δοθεί έμφαση. Το κάστρο που λέγετε MSOffice δεν πέφτει εύκολα θέλει παράλληλες δράσεις. και για να καταλήξω : odf+pdf+odf-converter είναι η ιδανική λύση για αρχή. Η εμπειρία μου εν συντομία : Είμαι χρήστης Linux εδώ και 3 χρόνια - και σε αυτά τα τρία χρόνια έχουν γίνει αρκετά με την συνδρομή και του Γιάννη στην εταιρία που εργάζομαι (60 pc's) (postfix,squirrelmail - webmail,ldap,bacula backup,thunderbird, OpenOffice και άλλα μικρά και μεγάλα project) Από την αρχή του 2009 δοκιμάζω ως κύριο λειτουργικό σε περιβάλλον εργασίας ( το τονίζω αυτό ..!!!) το debian (lenny) - (δοκίμασα ήδη Ubuntu, Mint .. αλλά ...debian και πάλι debian ...) Τα προβλήματα συνύπαρξης MSOffice - OpenOffice μέσα στην εταιρία είναι υπαρκτά και πρέπει να σώζω σε .xls, .doc κλπ, γι' αυτό χαιρετίζω την πρόταση του Thanos. Πρέπει όμως να τονίσω ότι το κύριο πρόβλημα για μένα είναι τα μικρά VBA έργα που υπάρχουν και λύνουν τα χέρια στους χρήστες. Εδώ χρειάζεται δουλειά από την κοινότητα. Δεν είναι εύκολο να πεις ξανα - γράφω τον κώδικα σε κάποια άλλη γλώσσα. Χρειάζεται μια ποιο έξυπνη λύση. Κάποιος converter ή κάτι άλλο. Γνωρίζω για την προσπάθεια που γίνεται να τρέξει ο κώδικας VBA σε Οpen Office αλλά έχει δρόμο μπροστά του. Olá, Eu tinha duas placas de rede nesse micro. A placa eth0 pifou e fiquei, por um tempo, so com a eth1, funcionando perfeitamente na conexacao discada. Agora, mudei para o speedy e tive necessidade de compartilhar, novamente, minha rede (ja compartilhava a discada) Comprei uma nova placa PCI e pluguei ela. Mas, ela não é reconhecida. Nos logs, veja abaixo, aparece que ela foi renomeada de eth0 para eth1. Voce saberia se o driver 8139too é, realmente, o indicado para esse hardware? O que eu poderia fazer para configura-lo? After 3 days of trying to make the ipw2100 work it turned out something was physically wrong with it(bought it down a 2n hand store) I just got a Broadcom 4318 working 2 days ago without a hitch at all. where are asterisk modules ?
I've installed asterisk on lenny, along with zaptel and libpri. I'm working throught the O'Reilly Asterisk book. Things are going well untill I try a command that needs /dev/zap/ctl. The device isn't there. Apparently I need some modules, but they don't seem to be there. Specifically, I'm looking for wctdm and zaptel. Modprobe couldn't find them, so I did a find /lib -iname '*wctdm*' and then even a find / -iname '*wctdm*'. Neither returned anything. Googling hasn't turned up anybody having had the same missing modules problem. So does anybody know how I go about getting the asterisk modules on my system? Configuring Tor and Privoxy in Squeeze
Hello I am attempting to get Tor and Privoxy working with Iceweasel, but it keeps throwing up errors. The logfile has been enabled to record debugging info (1024 Log the destination for requests Privoxy didn't let through, and the reason why, 4096 start up banner and warnings and 32 debug force feature. IMHO disabling an old and trusted functionality is simply introducing a bug, made worse by keeping silent about it (no word about it in changelog.gz or NEWS.Debian.gz). It must surely be a tiny minority of users who press control-alt-backspace by mistake; I find it hard to imagine even. But for users who suffer from this syndrome there has always been the possibility of specifying DontZap. Forcing it on all users is a Bad Thing. Cannot login to computer after upgrade to Lenny
Hi, I finally upgraded my computer to Lenny, following the release notes advices, and everything seemed to have worked quite well. But after the reboot, I cannot login anymore ! The system complains about a missing library (libdl.so.2) ?? A failsafe reboot using new Lenny kernel (2.6.26) provides me a root console, but I cannot do much more here (see the log below), I get the same error using su. I have no clue about what's happening, and I couldn't find anything on the internet about this problem... I download from us.debian.org and security.debian.org and have had several failures since yesterday to install this package. The desktop accessibility previously provided by gnome-accessibility and gnome-orca has been terminated until further notice too. Seems the rest of gnome suddenly decided it didn't like gnome-accessibility anymore and that in turn disabled gnome-orca. The DontZap case isn't an isolated one, it's a trend. Those changes are pushed in order to get GNU-Linux ready for the desktop of Mr. Mrs. everybody I guess, say it's the Ubuntu law of Linux desktop evolution. I think silently changing this feature of X is something to which Debian should not subscribe. I was reminded of this creeping nannyism recently when a new user of Debian was apparently unaware of the existence of the su command. He apparently believed that sudo was the only way to gain access to super-user rights, and was distraut when it didn't work on his new Debian Lenny installation. netinst, kde-desktop no desktop
I realized that by installing basic Debian Lenny with netinst and manually installing kde-desktop somehow does not have Desktop for user. Is this a bug or 'feature'. screen grab of scrolling window?
Hello, I have an on-screen image that, unfortunately, is not all on the screen; it's too big to fit on screen and there are scrollbars for me to scroll to view this and that portion of the image. Question: Is there a program that can perform a screen dump or a screen grab of a scrolling window, to convert the entire contents (i.e. not just the on-screen contents) of that window to e.g. a png file? In this instance, the image in question is that of an emailed PDF document created under Mac OS X; I want to be able to grab/snap exactly how the document looks under Linux here and send that grab back to the creator. It turns out that ImageMagick's convert(1) program almost but doesn't quite do the trick; what it does is shrink the image down to my screen height first. e2fslibs sometimes corrupt
Yesterday I was running ia32-apt-get when e2fslib came up for installation and that package converts libraries to be compatible with amd flavored machines when it works. Yesterday, it didn't work because dpkg flagged amd-e2fslib as being corrupt. iceweasel/evince cups problems
Hi, since recently, all cups printers are disabled in my iceweasel and evince-gtk print dialogs (I did not check other programs). They are greyed out -- if I select one of them, the print button is disabled. The only way to print is to create a pdf, and then to print it via, e.g., gtklp. The problem also shows up with the mozilla.com firefox package, or using a fresh guest account. Maybe it is related to bug #529978? lpstat -t lists the printers as enabled, and I can actually print to them (using gtklp). I use a mixed testing/unstable debian installation and the xfce desktop (cups* 1.3.10-2, iceweasel 3.0.9-1, xulrunner-1.9 1.9.0.10-1). How can I get the printing system to work normally again? During a recent update of squeeze this warning appeared. warning: /usr/lib/python-support/hplip/python2.4/cupsext.so is linked but does not belong to any package. The currently functioning python is 2.5. Is a corrective action needed? Will a subsequent update solve the problem? I always hated that player, and since I'm using it, I hate it even more. Once I'm done with watching, I'll remove it, but installing and uninstalling it all the time isn't a good option, either. On the wild wild web privacy is a lost word, security an illusion. Yes, but that doesn't mean that anyone should have to accept spyware like that. If you do not trust Adobe, stop using their closed-source software.
