systemd+anacron breaks cron jobs?
I have in my /etc/cron.daily some local scripts. Some of them can be occassionally time-consuming. Recently I found that some of them did not end. And what I found: 1. as "everybody" knows, in case of anacron presence, system cron jobs are delegated to anacron. 2. recently in Debian we have anacron.timer which also runs "cron.daily" entry. 3. there is a timeout in systemd services which cause to kill my jobs :( So my question is: is it safe to remove/disable anacron timer? Ha damn. Ayant plutôt l'habitude de m'amuser sur un VPS de chez pcextreme.nl, j'avoue avoir pris l'habitude d'importer un .iso de mon choix. Il va se loger dans un genre de bibliothèque accessible lors de la configuration d'une machine virtuelle. Ambiance très Virtualbox qui monte un .iso pour booter dessus si on veut. Après install de la distrib, je vire de cette bibliothèque ce fichier .iso, ils ne m'ont jamais rien fait payé de plus... Donc si je résume et que j'ai bien compris, OVH propose d'installer Debian via son menu de déploiement, Debian fourni par eux, forcément... Bonsoir, Mon problème : j'ai réinstaller un poste en version 9 de base il y a quelques mois et pour mon imprimante hplip-3.18.9, mais depuis quelque temps ( depuis l'upgrade à 9.6 semble-t-il) l'imprimante avait un bug quand elle imprimait un pdf et certain document avec des graphiques et n'était plus reconnue dans Xsane. j'ai donc décidé de passer à la version hplip-3.18.10 et là c'est la cata : pas compatible 9.6 et la hplip-3.18.9 bien évidement non plus. donc avant d'en arriver au downgrade de ma Debian quelqu'un a-t-il déjà solutionner le bug ?? Reboot y voila. Te lo comento como experiencia. Ahora bien en su momento tuve problemas con un equipo i915 y una Nvidia GF108 pero no tengo el "como" solucioné el problema, la verdad que no me acuerdo, pero tenía algo que ver con los drivers y la administración de las dos GPU. No has aclarado si tienes en tu equipo dos GPUs. Revisa el link, es para manjaro-arch pero quizá te de alguna pista. Have you tried reconfiguring the locales to build the
fi_FI.UTF-8 set ?
# dpkg-reconfigure locales
Check your locale in the first menu with Space, then select
it in the second menu, to use it as default.
Once done, you'll need to reenter your chroot for this
modification to be appropriately taken in account I believe.

Peut être pour un VPS évolué, ou, un serveur dédié, avec une interface améliorée. Je ne suis pas bloqué avec une distribution OVH, mais, avec la distribution Debian 9 Stretch, qui, lorsque je sort du mode rescue, a des services éteints qui ne démarrent plus. Comme je le disais, je suis entrain de réinstaller le serveur. J'ai ouvert un nouveau post, concernant la directive output_buffering que je n'arrive pas à désactiver dans le php.ini de php fpm. Cela ressemble fort à un bogue.

Just FAWC (for anyone who cares :]) that's a UUOG (useless
use of grep), because regular expression support is fundamental
to the design of awk.
apt-cache policy $(dpkg -l | awk '/libcurl/ {print $2}')
would be a nicer way to do that, FAWC.
