conseguir compartilhar a tela.

Ah, great, thanks to you and to those further down the reply chain!

When I set up our first machine to use a GEANT cert, I wasn't able to
get their "certificate w/ chain" to work, but the "certificate only" was
fine in firefox, so I assumed (...without bothering to actually look in
the file) that the "certificate only" download also included the chain
and went with that, unaware that firefox is "helpful" enough to find the
chain for itself. So now I revisited that and, apparently, the
"certificate w/ chain" download has the certificate order backwards in
the pem, so I needed the "certificate w/ issuer after" download instead.

Now that I've gotten that straightened out, everything appears to be
working as it should.

My suggestion would be to set the message text to a fixed-width font.
Preferences > Mail & Newsgroups > Message Display > set Font to Fixed Width.
Preferences > Appearance > Fonts: set font size next to Monospace.
And keep the minimum font size at a lower value.
The browser can still display smaller text then.

When using Gnome, you can find this in the Gnome Control Center.
Some other desktop environments seem to have their own settings for it.
For example, in Mate, I found it here:
System > Control Center > Look and Feel > Appearance > tab 'Fonts'.
It overrides the settings in ~/.config/gtk-3.0.

I have the Openbox WM myself. I did not find any setting for the GTK fonts
there, so I had to resort to the arcane configuration files mentioned above.

BTW, there is a similar setting for the font in gtk2 applications.
Put a line like this in ~/.gtkrc-2.0:

gtk-font-name = "Liberation Sans 12"

Interesting and humorous 'blather', nevertheless. :-)

Thanks for answering this post as full as you did. I did not know about AIA
fetching and it now solves something I had noticed before but never found out
why.
Now I know. :-)

I understand finding the balance between a proper configured (web) server and
trying to make users don't have problems with misconfigured servers. The same
discussion has been going on with what a mail server/client should accept and
try to interpret when the sender does not follow the proper rules.
