Was ist die günstigste / problemlosteste Lösung, ein Midiinterface auf

Die Docking Station hat anscheinend weder MIDI- noch Gameport-Anschluss.

 USB? Hersteller?

Are there any USB Midi adapters that are supported by Linux?

Yes.

http://qbik.ch/usb/devices/search_res.php?pattern=midi+interface
http://www.alsa-project.org/alsa-doc/
http://member.nifty.ne.jp/Breeze/softwares/unix/usbmidi-e.html

Do USB midi adapters all use proprietary USB protocols or is there some kind of
standard for doing midi via USB?

Both. :-)
There is a standard, but there isn't any device which is 100% compatible
to it (except keyboards from Evolution).
