Security option in Evolution account setup
I am using Debian Unstale, I have tried to add gmail to evolution but there is no security (in receiving/sending email) or ssl releated options. Did i miss something to install or am i blind? :) Have a nice day. -- Erçin EKER UIN:82166138 jabber:[EMAIL PROTECTED] .''`. : :' : Born to use Debian. `. `' GPG KeyID: 3DD6DF91 `-Fingerprint: BA95 1DDD 8961 665B 8536 B942 8D43 3EF0 3DD6 DF91 signature.asc Description: This is a digitally signed message part

gnome-settings-daemon is not starting
Hi all, Since last night i can not get gnome-settings-daemon start. I'm using up-to-date Debian/sid. It only starts when i try to login with nested gdm, everything works fine. When i try to start the daemon in a terminal i get this error: The program 'gnome-settings-daemon' received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)'. (Details: serial 1413 error_code 2 request_code 116 minor_code 0) (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.) I use turkish keyboard and the default layout for turkish is q(werty) layout, but in X config there was an option like "xkbvariant q" and this was the cause of my probled. I think Andrew's problem could be something similar. -- Erçin EKER UIN:82166128 jabber:[EMAIL PROTECTED] .''`. : :' : Born to use Debian. `. `' GPG KeyID: 3DD6DF91 `-Fingerpring: BA95 1DDD 8961 665B 8536 B942 8D43 3EF0 3DD6 DF91 signature.asc Description: This is a digitally signed message part
