Re: Pulseaudio surround without subwoofer/lfe...
SOLVED! By this -> https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=1435411#p1435411 :) 2016-05-25 22:15 keltezéssel, START Nonprofit Kft. Számítástechnika írta: Hi! I've set almost everything which I could - and know - about pulseaudio with surround. All of the speakers can work but I haven't got any sound from the subwoofer/lfe. I already tried all of these tips -> https://wiki.debian.org/PulseAudio#Surround_sound_system There are also another problem too - when I try "Testing speakers" - like here -> http://alexsleat.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/Screenshot-Speaker-Testing-for-CM106-Like-Sound-Device.png I can't get any sound from the speakers - but when I try listening mp3 or youtube I can hear all the speakers - without the subwoofer as I mentioned before. Please help me!
Re: XM1541 with Debian
I've got the cable and the connection of the integrated parallel port - on the mainboard of PC. So I'd like to only know about the configurations. 2016-04-09 16:26 keltezéssel, Glenn Holmer írta: On 04/09/2016 08:42 AM, Hársfalvi Gábor wrote: If anyone did use the XM1541 cable with Debian - to copy files between Commodore 64 floppy and PC - please help me! Those are considered obsolete because they require a parallel port. Nowadays people use the ZoomFloppy, which is a USB device: http://store.go4retro.com/zoomfloppy/ However, the software used with the ZoomFloppy (opencbm) also works with the older devices. Here are instructions for building it on Linux: http://www.lyonlabs.org/commodore/building-opencbm-on-linux.html There is also a newer version: http://spiro.trikaliotis.net/opencbm-alpha http://spiro.trikaliotis.net/Download/opencbm-0.4.99.98/opencbm-0.4.99.98-source.tar.bz2 For further information, see "ZoomFloppy Users" on groups.google.com.
Re: XM1541 with Debian
Hi, thanks for the answers! My main question is how to configure with the ports - which softwares should I use and how. The best which I wish to get - using StarCommander to copy programs between the PC and Commodore 64 floppy disk. 2016-04-09 15:53 keltezéssel, Anders Andersson írta: On Sat, Apr 9, 2016 at 3:42 PM, Hársfalvi Gábor <hgab...@gmail.com> wrote: If anyone did use the XM1541 cable with Debian - to copy files between Commodore 64 floppy and PC - please help me! Technically I did, but I don't think I can help you because it must have been over 12 years ago. It helps if you actually add the problem to your question.
