librpm-4.4.so cannot be found
Hi, everyone My debian version is Squeeze. When I was to install the Hangeul Viewer Program, I found a error message as follows : root@debian:/home/frog/Download/temp# ./haansoft-office7-installer ./haansoft-office7-installer: error while loading shared libraries: librpm-4.4.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory I installed librpm package but the result was same. Best Regards, J.Hwan Kim Assuming gnome: start gconf-editor (start with terminal or the menu: Applications - System tools - Configuration editor) go to apps - nautilus - desktop There you can find check boxes to enable/disable some icons (network, computer, home directory and trash) I tried as you told. The computer, trash, network and home icons could be erased or shown, but my contents of my account directory could not be erased. For example, the icon of temp directory existing in /home/frog (my account is frog) could not be erased in Desktop screen. Further advice is needed. Thanks in advnace. Uninstallation of Java tools for eclipse
Hi, everyone My system is lenny 5.03 and when I installed eclipse, the development tools are installed, too. But now I want to unistall the java development tools of eclipse. So, I did it, but the java tools of eclipse is not installed. When I overwrite sun java packages, the java tools of eclipse remains. How can I uninstall the java tools for eclipse completely? usage of ifconfig
Hi, everyone When I change IP address and netmask via "ifconfig", the netmask is set incorrectly. For example, when I command in shell "ifconfig netmask 255.255.255.0 70.7.44.102", the IP address 70.7.44.102 is set correctly, but the netmask is set to 255.0.0.0. Why does this case happen? Because I want to change the network enviroment in my application program, I use the command ifconfig with system() function. Any hint will be helpful to me. Thanks in advance.
