I am installing Debian 6.0.0 squeeze with kernel version
2.6.32-5-amd64 on Dell R720 2U server(

the installer is unable to detect the RAID Controller and NIC Card.

on remote servers totaling around 200 Servers running debian Linux
Server and also the number of RAM Chips attached to the system. Any
utility or some gui tool from client desktop ?

edit multiple files under multiple directories/folders

Hi,

In my home folder I have 6 tomcat directories under
/home/kaushal/tomcat0..6

Under each of these tomcats there are sub folder conf and inside these conf
there is a file by the name server.xml so for example I have
tomcat0,tomcat1,tomcat2,tomcat3,tomcat4,tomcat5 so i need to edit server.xml
and set port numbers for tomcat0 to 8080 tomcat1 to 8081 and similarly for
others,the other way is to go to individual directory and do it

Please suggest/guide

15 days in the logrotate config and than delete it on localhost older
than 15 days, so that at a time only 15 days of logs are available on localhost.

Hi,

I am having issue with autossh host, I get

autossh[13221]: checking for grace period, tries = 0
autossh[13221]: starting ssh (count 1)
autossh[13221]: ssh child pid is 13224
autossh[13221]: check on child 13224
autossh[13221]: set alarm for 600 secs
autossh[13224]: execing /usr/bin/ssh

My Autossh setting in my .bashrc are as  below

export AUTOSSH_GATETIME=0
export AUTOSSH_POLL=100
export AUTOSSH_PORT=20020
export AUTOSSH_DEBUG=1

When i test by disconnecting and reconnecting the internet, It takes
10mins to prompt for a password. Can this time interval be reduced ?
