Re: 1000hz preemptive kernel for Debian Lenny AMD64
Steffen Tronstad wrote: I ’ m pretty sure that the kernel included in the distrobution before was 1000Hz, but for some reason one of my server runs at only 250Hz. I ’ m using my server to run gameservers and need a high timer. Is there any precompiled kernels (high performance, real-time) that can be downloaded trough apt-get that I can use? I dont like compiling my own kernels as I have to keep it updated manually when security fixes comes out. I'm interested in this as well. Currently I have my own kernel compiled to run my HLDS and SRCDS server; I couldn't find a ready made one. I don't even think there exists one. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-user-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Contact listmas...@lists.debian.org
After changing LVM settings, fstab options got lost
I resized an LVM volume in system-config-lvm, and this wiped out all my custom mount options in /etc/fstab and reset them to the ones used at installation time. I didn't notice it until disk quotas were exceeded without me getting a warning about it (since it also wiped out the usrjquota mount options). Is there something I'm missing here? This should not happen, I think. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-user-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Contact listmas...@lists.debian.org
Re: Which C++ Library am I Looking For?
Hal Vaughan wrote: I have a program that compiled fine on Etch, but when I compile it on Lenny, it's looking for a function called transform. I've tried comparing library lists of the libs installed on the Etch system and the Lenny one, but it's a long list. As best I can tell, transform is in a standard C++ library and it looks like those are installed on the Lenny system. I've tried Google, but with the keywords of C++, library, and transform, it's hard to narrow it down and find just what package I'm looking for. Any help on this would be a big help. Any C++ coders out there who can suggest what library/package I need to install? You need: #include algorithm to use this function. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-user-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Contact listmas...@lists.debian.org
