Texas Instrument and Docking Bay
I have an old TI 4000E laptop that has a Adaptec AIC 6360 SCSI controlloer on the Docking station. I can't get Debian 2.0 to recoginze or see anything in the 16 bit slots on the docking station. Does anyone know where I could find drivers for this? I have 8 Megs ram on this machine and I can get Linux installed on it but I can't use the CDROM that is in the Docking station or the Network card that I put in the ISA slots. Any help, suggestions or direction would be appreciated. Tony Our Town USA, Inc. Tony D. Koehn http://www.ourtownusa.net President 316-663-5607

Logging to debian...
I got a Terminal server that I am trying to get it to log on my Debian machine. I can't seem to get it to work. I added to my syslog.conf file. local7.*-/var/log/ts.log My Terminal Server should be set write for logging to my machine. Computone looked at it and made any corrections that were wrong. Do I need to do anything more than adding the above line to my syslog.conf file? Tony -- TO UNSUBSCRIBE FROM THIS MAILING LIST: e-mail the word unsubscribe to [EMAIL PROTECTED] . Syslog
I have a computone terminal server that I need to log to my debian machine. I have set the terminal server up to log. I have added the -r in the init.d file so SYSLOGD=-r. I have added the following line to the syslog.conf file: local7.*/var/log/ts.log I don't see any logging anything happening in the ts.log file. Can anyone tell me if I am over looking something? Do I need to reset the terminal server? Help. Tony -- TO UNSUBSCRIBE FROM THIS MAILING LIST: e-mail the word unsubscribe to [EMAIL PROTECTED] . Trouble? e-mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] .
RE: Syslog
I found my problem. I had two quotes at the end of my variable in the sysklogd file. Tony -- From: Tony D.
