??? XF86Setup while running X ???

Howdy everybody,

I'm trying to tweak my X setup by running XF86Setup while in X...

However, I get the message:

xlib: connection to :0.0 refused by server
xlib: client is not authorized to connect to server
couldn't connect to display :0.0

I also tried running as su root same thing.

Any ideas?

Login as a root, and then run setup. Su won't do

I didn't think XF86Setup could be run from within X. But then, there's a
lot I don't know.
