I quickly got tired of opening the connection cover on the camera and plugging in the USB cable into the camera. I bought a $30 SadDisk 12-in-1 card reader/writer. It's wonderful! The memory card shows up as another drive that I can copy/move images from, and even write to. -- Raquel What I am is good enough if I would only be it openly. --Carl Rogers -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. In the next couple of days I'm getting the A570IS and will be wanting to upload images to my desktop and from there editing, etc. What is the best tool for Gnome? -- Raquel I should love to satisfy all, if I possibly can; but in trying to satisfy all, I may be able to satisfy none. I have a Nikon 600 something or other and it works very nicely with gtkam. My only compaint is that occasionally gtkam (actually, I am relatively certain that it is really a libgphoto issue) will not see the filesystem on the camera (I use it in USB PTP mode). Usually I need to turn the camera off and back on when that happens. Regards, -Roberto -- Roberto C.
