Also i'm using chromebook, not ARM. And i did install Ubuntu via Crouton. In this case, i could not help you, sorry. Simply i did buy usb mouse. That is my solution. Yes, I’ve tried installing xserver-xorg-input-synaptics, xserver-xorg-input-mtrack, and xf86-input-cmt (https://github.com/hugegreenbug/xf86-input-cmt) and none of them have made any difference.
