Even though Buster has a signed kernel to work with Secureboot, it's a place to start troubleshooting. B

Is there any fix for this? You could try Ctrl+Alt+F1 (or F2) to test if you have CLI access to a booted system and the issue is just something with Gnome shell maybe?
