Fvwm2 FvwmPager
I am unable to get either FvwmButtons or TkGoodStuff to swallow the FvwmPager module. Can't think of any other configurations I haven't tried. It doesn't appear to be related to the new multi-file fvwm2rc configuration setup (although it is definitely confusing to setup and I could be easily missing something in all those various interrelated files). I've tried using a single old-style configuration file with no results either, using both new and old configuration methods. Has anyone else run into this problem with the current version of Fvwm2 in hamm? Anyone been able to get Pager swallowed? Ive been able to get other modules swallowed, its just Pager that won't go down. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. RE: Fvwm2 FvwmPager
Try this line in you .fvwm2rc Put in the FvwmButtons section. Also look at the FvwmButtons man page. That's where I copied the line from. *FvwmButtons (4x1, Swallow FvwmPager 'FvwmPager 0 1' Frame 1) On 22-Jan-98 [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: I am unable to get either FvwmButtons or TkGoodStuff to swallow the FvwmPager module. Re: fvwm2 FvwmPager or hook problem? [db]
If you have the default system.fvwm2rc file active, it also starts the pager at the end. To get the pager on all desktops, you have to put Style FvwmPager Sticky somewhere in the initializaion. Putting it in post.hook works for instance. Eric Stern -- TO UNSUBSCRIBE FROM THIS MAILING LIST: e-mail the word unsubscribe to [EMAIL PROTECTED] . Trouble? e-mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] .

fvwm2 FvwmPager or hook problem? [db]
-- I'm encountering several problems setting up FvwmPager. * I'm getting two pagers when I start X. I added Module FvwmPager 0 0 to the Debian init-restart.hook file. (The Debian documentation (/usr/doc/fvwm2/debian.README.sysrc.gz) says that init-restart.hook is the place to put commands to start fvwm modules.) However, when I start X, I get two pager windows instead of just one. Have I put something in the wrong place, have I set something up wrong, or does the Debian setup process some things extra times? * When I click in the pager to switch desktops, it does switch desktops, but the pager disappears, so I can't use it to return to my original desktop. From my fvwm 1 experience, I thought that the default fvwm behavior would be to continue to show the pager after switching. Did Debian change this behavior (or is fvwm 2 that different)? What do I need to do to restore this behavior? Thanks, Daniel -- Daniel S. Barclay Compass Design Automation, Inc. [EMAIL PROTECTED] Suite 100, 5457 Twin Knolls Rd. I think I mean page of the desktop. Daniel -- TO UNSUBSCRIBE FROM THIS MAILING LIST: e-mail the word unsubscribe to [EMAIL PROTECTED] . Trouble? e-mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] .

Problem: It should have been + Module FvwmPager 0 0. * When I click in the pager to switch desktops, it does switch desktops, but the pager disappears, so I can't use it to return to my original desktop. Problem: It also needs + Style FvwmPager Sticky (because Debian deleted the Style ... Sticky setting (from the original FVWM distribution) that would have handled that. -- Daniel S.
