$ apt-file search xdg-desktop-portal.service
xdg-desktop-portal: /usr/lib/systemd/user/xdg-desktop-portal.service

I have no input on whether that is the source of the OP's error
message however.

Cheers,
Andy

Hello

This error message could probably disappear if you install
xdg-desktop-portal.service package. There is also a backported version
for Bullseye and that could suggest also that for whatever reason the
ordinary Bullseye package does not function anymore at least in certain
conditions

What repo is this in, its a not found in an sudo apt install command.
However, if the .service is removed, synaptic says 90% of the xdg stuff
is installed.

Something in bookworm+kde is getting in the way of both openscad and
cura's ability to open a file write requestor, generally it eventually
works but takes up 5 frustrating minutes to do what should take a
millisecond.
