Actually I am addicted to the code - compile - segfault - debug - repeat
cycle.  Just so happens the cycle is faster and more interesting in Linux (or
UNIX).

No it's not addictive. Is infective: once you install it on a
computer, you will quickly find it on the whole network :-)
