Assuming the JetDirect card is relative ly new (less that 2yrs or so) the answer is: yes. The printer won't accept jobs from both Novel LInux simultaneously but you can co-exist quite peacefully without you Novell users even noticing. -- Stephen --- Normality is a statistical illusion. -- me -- TO UNSUBSCRIBE FROM THIS MAILING LIST: e-mail the word unsubscribe to [EMAIL PROTECTED] . Printing Guru question.
Hi folks. I'm running linux but our printer a HP LaserJet 4p connected directly to the net trough a JetDirect ExPlus3 is atached to a Novell Print Queue. Reading the Printing-HOWTO i saw that it is easy to print to that kind of printers because they seem to be running an lpd. Here is my question: Can i send print jobs directly to the printer without conflict with the NOVELL print Queue??? Thanks in advance. __ Felipe Alvarez Harnecker [EMAIL PROTECTED] Telefono: 691.30.56 Licenciado en Matemáticas y Computación Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
