Problem with pc, kernel oops, applications crashed
Hello! I have great problems with my box. Every ten minutes crashed an application and sometimes the hole box. It is an athlon 2200 Using stable with 2.6.8 and 2.4.27. A few suggestions. Make sure that everything is in its slots (memory, even though you have checked it, PCI cards, plugs etc etc). Then try removing thins bit by bit and see what happens. Does it always happen with this process, or is it different processes that cause the crash? xscreensaver does some pretty invasive things with video memory, so could easily be the culprit.
