No, this means that it is not installed on your system.  This library is 
included in termcap-compat package.

I did a 

dpkg --search libtermcap.so.2

and it couldn't find it.  Does that mean that it doesn't exist anywhere
in the debian distribution?

Does anyone know where I can get it from?
