xWindows, HELP....
Well, I Configured xwindows ans started it. The first time I ran it I just got a blue screen with mouse pointer. Now when I boot my machine, I get a xWindows login prompt. I can't get to a bash prompt to fix my xWindows config. If I try ctrl+alt+backspace it takes me back to a xWindows login prompt. if I try ctrl+alt+del, it brings up a dialog box with, Log Out, Shutdown, Reboot, Restar ICEwin (that might not be spelled right) , etc etc... Any Ideas? mike

XWindows Help
I am trying to setup XWIndows with one of the configuration programs. XF86Setup and xf86config. When I configure with XF86Setup everything works fine but when I type 'xstart' I get an error message: exec of /usr/vin/X11/XF86_NONE failed How do I solve this? I imagine XF86_NONE is a file I don't have (I checked to see if it was there). What do I need in this file or how can I create it? As an aside, how can I determine how much drive space I have left on my harddrive? In other words, what command will tell me this? Thanks Lance

Edit /etc/X11/Xserver file and put the name of the driver you want to use there instead of XF86_NONE (like XF86_SVGA ). As an aside, how can I determine how much drive space I have left on my harddrive?
