There is a related thread over at debian-project. It starts
here:

  https://lists.debian.org/debian-project/2021/02/msg4.html

and spills over to the next month.

Can't help, but here are some possibly relevant discussions, dealing
with the same hardware you have:

debian gnome login fingerprint

2021-03-06 Thread Tiago Zaniquelli
Hello everybody.

I am trying to setup my notebook with fingerprint login but I didn't have
success.

The command lsbusb return this:
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0003 Linux Foundation 3.0 root hub
Bus 001 Device 004: ID 0bda:565a Realtek Semiconductor Corp.
Integrated_Webcam_HD
Bus 001 Device 003: ID 27c6:538d Shenzhen Goodix Technology Co.,Ltd. FingerPrint

Bus 001 Device 005: ID 8087:0aaa Intel Corp. Bluetooth 9460/9560 Jefferson Peak
(JfP)
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub

I use Debian with Gnome.

Anyone could help me?
