very simple question that I can't answer

Hi guys
I want to install Java based products starting with jdk itself.
But I dont have make installed because it belongs to the developer 
package.

questions:
- where to get that package?
- how to install it?
- how to register to this list?

which package jdk or make.
make comes with GNU Utils
JDK at java.sun.com
 - how to install it?
which package jdk or make.
 - how to register to this list?

From your favorite debian mirror:

apt-get install make

 - how to register to this list?
