services (icingaweb2 extension)

  Icinga Web 2 is a very modular, fast and simple web interface for
  your Icinga monitoring environment.
  .
  The X.509 module keeps track of certificates as they are
  deployed in a network environment by scanning networks for TLS
  services.

Bug#810822: MooseFS > LizardFS

2019-02-06 Thread Dmitry Smirnov
Some years passed and situation changed again... Although LizardFS is still
ahead of MooseFS in terms of features (EC and XOR chunks; master/slave fail-
over), it is quickly becoming obsolete with upstream development stalled
without progress for a while... LizardFS is affected by upstream bugs with
little hope for fixing and naturally community is moving back to MooseFS.

With loyal community MooseFS is doing well and the project is stronger than
ever. MooseFS is actively developed, bug reports are being answered, etc.
Just as Jakub was saying, MooseFS is appreciated for its performance and
stability. Sadly LizardFS is quickly losing trust in those areas...

All the best,
 Dmitry Smirnov.

You need to set Maintainer: and Uploaders: to be the same as the sway
package, since we're doing a split.

I haven't done a full review yet.

Bug#921597: RFP: libtimidity -- MIDI to WAVE converter library

2019-02-06 Thread Nikolas Nyby
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist

* Package name: libtimidity
  Version : 0.2.6
  Upstream Author : Ozkan Sezer
* URL : https://sourceforge.net/projects/libtimidity/
* License : LGPL
  Programming Lang: C
  Description : MIDI to WAVE converter library

This library is based on the TiMidity decoder from SDL_sound library.
Purpose to create this library is to avoid unnecessary dependences.
SDL_sound requires SDL and some other libraries, that not needed to
process MIDI files. In addition libTiMidity provides more suitable
API to work with MIDI songs, it enables to specify full path to the
timidity configuration file, and have function to retrieve meta data
from MIDI song.

This library was active 15 years ago, and has recently seen new activity
with a string of new releases over the past year.

Some packages already in Debian's collection would find this useful.
OpenTTD is one example.

I'm looking for a maintainer, but if no one is interested I can be the
maintainer.

  Upstream Author : Paul Querna
* URL : https://github.com/pquerna/ffjson
* License : Apache-2.0

  Description : faster JSON serialization for Go

 ffjson: faster JSON for Go Build Status
 (https://travis-ci.org/pquerna/ffjson)
 .
 ffjson generates static MarshalJSON and UnmarshalJSON functions for
 structures in Go. The generated functions reduce the reliance upon runtime
 reflection to do serialization and are generally 2 to 3 times faster.
 In cases where ffjson doesn't understand a Type involved, it falls back to
 encoding/json, meaning it is a safe drop in replacement. By using ffjson
 your JSON serialization just gets faster with no additional code changes.

This package is going to be team maintained on salsa at
https://salsa.debian.org/go-team/packages/golang-github-pquerna-ffjson

This is my first golang package, so additional set of eyeballs would be
appreciated. This package is a build-dependency of github.com/containers/image,
which in turns is required for skopeo (#880199).

* Package name: libxmlb
  Version : 0.1.6
  Upstream Author : Richard Hughes
* URL : https://github.com/hughsie/libxmlb
* License : LGPL2.1+
  Programming Lang: C
  Description : XML binary library

 The libxmlb library takes XML source, and
 converts it to a structured binary representation with a deduplicated string
 table -- where the strings have the NULs included.
 .
 This allows an application to mmap the binary XML file, do an XPath query and
 return some strings without actually parsing the entire document. This is all
 done using (almost) zero allocations and no actual copying of the binary data.

This package is used by newer versions of fwupd and gnome-software as a
mandatory
dependency.

It's intended to be maintained by the debian-efi team as part of supporting the
UEFI stack.

MurmurHash is one of the most commonly used non-cryptographic hash
functions. This project bundles it into a shared library to avoid code
duplication. Further it provides compatibility even for big-endian
systems.

This package will be co-maintained in the Debian Med Team.

* Package name: libtest-memorygrowth-perl
  Version : 0.03
  Upstream Author : Paul Evans
* URL : https://metacpan.org/release/Test-MemoryGrowth
* License : Artistic or GPL-1+
  Programming Lang: Perl
  Description : module to assert that code does not cause growth in memory
usage

Test::MemoryGrowth provides a function to check that a given block of code
does not result in the process consuming extra memory once it has finished.
Despite the name of this module it does not, in the strictest sense of the
word, test for a memory leak: that term is specifically applied to cases
where memory has been allocated but all record of it has been lost, so it
cannot possibly be reclaimed. While the method employed by this module can
detect such bugs, it can also detect cases where memory is still referenced
and reachable, but the usage has grown more than would be expected or
necessary.

The block of code will be run a large number of times (by default 10,000),
and the difference in memory usage by the process before and after is
compared. If the memory usage has now increased by more than one byte per
call, then the test fails.

The package will be maintained under the umbrella of the Debian Perl Group.

 libgraphqlparser is a parser for GraphQL, a query language created by

 the pure C API defined in the c subdirectory), or you can use it as the

Bug#921545: RFP: androiddeployqt -- Build Qt applications for Android

2019-02-06 Thread Pierre Rudloff
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist

* Package name: androiddeployqt
  Version : 5.12.1
* URL : http://doc.qt.io/qt-5/deployment-
android.html#androiddeployqt
  Programming Lang: C++
  Description : Build Qt applications for Android

It looks like the qt5 packages in Debian don't include the parts necessary to
build Android apps, especially the androiddeployqt CLI tool.
This prevents building Android Qt apps on Debian (and on the F-Droid build
server, which is based on Debian).

Bug#786808: Could anybody share what is the latest on the maintainance of adequate ?

2019-02-06 Thread shirish शिरीष
Dear all,

I believe Paul Wise had volunteered [1] , as well as Axel Beckert [2]
but the status quo of adequate is same as before. Doing zless
changelog.gz on /usr/share/doc/adequate shows the last upload was on
12th Jan 2016 while tracker.debian.org/adequate shows another commit
done by Jakub Wilk which he marked as 0.15.2 [3] .

At the very least we could move upstream from bitbucket to
salsa.debian.org now that resource is there perhaps. Looking forward
to know more.

  Description : legible font designed to be used on aircraft cockpit
screens
 In 2010, Airbus initiated a research collaboration with ENAC and
Universite
 de Toulouse III on a prospective study to define and validate an
Aeronautical
 Font: the challenge was to improve the display of information on the
cockpit
 screens, in particular in terms of legibility and comfort of reading,
and to

 optimize the overall homogeneity of the cockpit.
 .
 Two years later, Airbus came to find Intactile DESIGN to work on the
design
 of the eight typographic variants of the font. This one, baptized B612
in
 reference to the imaginary asteroid of the aviator SaintExupery,
benefited

 from a complete hinting on all the characters.
 .
 Main characteristics are:
  - Maximize the distance between the forms of the characters
  - Respect the primitives of the different letters
  - Harmonize the forms and their spacing
