Re: [Declude.JunkMail] Commenting?

2002-07-24 Thread R. Scott Perry

Is it safe to assume that in the Word Filter file (1.56 beta) similar to
the configuration files blank lines are permitted?

Yes. Blank lines and lines beginning with a # are allowed.

Also is # sign depict comments in the filter file as well? Hate to
experiment with a live system.

No -- it won't work in the filter file (if it is in there, Declude JunkMail
will look for the # in the E-mail as well as the actual filter you want,
making it highly unlikely that the filter will match).

[Declude.JunkMail] 1.56 Stablility

2002-07-24 Thread Darrell LaRock

Any idea when 1.56 will move from the beta state. We are bringing up a
new mail server and I wanted to know if it is stable enough to go live
with it. I know a couple weeks back there were some posts about
problems that were corrected with an interim release.

Thanks In Advance

Re: [Declude.JunkMail] 1.56 Stablility

2002-07-24 Thread R. Scott Perry

I still get an occasional pop-up about sniffer.exe failing to initialize.

FYI, Microsoft doesn't seem to have anything left for Declude to do
regarding this, so it is unlikely that further releases of Declude JunkMail
will be able to do anything more to prevent these. Hopefully, a new
sniffer.exe will come about that removes the user32.dll dependency, which
should prevent the pop-up.

Hello Roger,

Just a reminder guys.. Don't forget to make a donation to the
programer at slsoft.com for this wounderful tool that SpamReview is.
If you haven't donated then if something isn't working to your liking
you have no right to bitch IMO.

I personally did a donation a couple of months ago. Now after updating
to .44 I see it's time to do another donation because he added a
couple of things that I asked for. =)
A great time saving tool. Well worth a donation.
