IMail changed from using the txt files to using an access database. With
Declude 4.3.23 we read the access database in Imail for the addresses,
however, we recently discovered that the way Imail is storing the
 addresses
is inconsistent, ie. Some are stored as [EMAIL PROTECTED] while others are
stored as [EMAIL PROTECTED] we have updated declude to look for both
formats which will be in the next release scheduled for end of Jan. At the
moment we are only checking the one format, this is why the AUTOWHITELIST
may not be working on certain addresses.

2007-01-17 Thread Darin Cox
The latest version of Declude 4 is supposed to have the Auto Whitelisting
added back in. Previous versions do not work with IMail 2006 for auto
whitelisting purposes.

Subject: [Declude.JunkMail] Automatic Whitelisting - IMail 2006.1

I'm in the process of moving to IMail 2006 and not sure if the Automatic
Whitelisting is working with it. On the old version of IMail (8.x) the
address book was kept in a text file called aliases.txt. With IMail 2006
it doesn't look like it's kept the same way and it doesn't appear that
Declude now whitelists the contacts that are in the users IMail Contacts.
Can someone tell me what I'm missing on this? Do I need to change the way
Declude looks for the address (contacts) in IMail users?

Thank you,
Mike

Thanks Darin,

I'm running Declude v4.3.23 for IMail with AUTOWHITELIST ON in the
GLOBAL.CFG file and it's not working.

Declude can you comment on this?

Thanks,
Mike
