Public bug reported: Binary package hint: system-tools-backends This is related to #72722 System-tools-backends produces an error if lsb_release isn't one of a handful of values. This breaks for downstream distributions. Please remove this check, the fact that I'm using a supported system is implicit from me using a package from Ubuntu. Hello, I used GDB (apport seems more complicated to use). I had to run gnome-panel-screenshot 14 times before the application crashes. You'll find in the attachment the trace of the last (fourteenth!) gnome- panel-screenshot run. Sorry but I don't know how to install the debug symbols for this application. However, I did install gnome-panel-dbg, but I just see that this is not used because file /usr/bin/gnome-panel shows that I have the stripped version. Yes, an apt-get upgrade installed network-manager some time ago, but this package does not seem to do anything except cause other desktop components to stop functioning. Hi Again, Unfortunately my problem occurs on the setup phase from the alternate installation CD (latest daily build of feisty). Whether I do a command line installation or a text mode, the installation gets stuck after trying to recognize disk drives. I then have this error message about PCIC Probe all over the place and cannot continue the installation. The LiveCD boots and starts installation well. Agreed that this is about a feature in Nautilus - but I think this is something that had previously worked. Feel free to correct me on that though. When a bookmark is dragged, a line appears between the two other bookmarks it is dragged to, implying that it can be 'dropped' there. Having done some more experimentation - I find that re-ordering is actually possible but it just doesn't really work very well anymore. I just managed to switch the position of two folders by moving a third but the operation was erratic and difficult to control. The rationale of being able to order bookmarks is that it's useful having your favourite ones at the top, especially when using the gtk Open File or Save As dialogues where it's a small window and you'd have to scroll all the way down to find the desired bookmark. I certainly agree that this is a wishlist bug - but it may also be a very quick and simple fix for the Nautilus dev team so in my opinion it's probably worth keeping it open in the interest of a high quality user experience in the release. Unfortunately I can't get debug symbols for /usr/lib/libpangocairo-1.0.so.0 so I can't find out if it's a cairo or pango problem. Which version of libpango1.0-0 do you have?
